"All it takes is a beautiful fake smile to hide an injured soul and they will never notice how broken you really are."

"Have any of you noticed how weird Roman's been acting?" Patton asked one evening. He chewed his lip, playing with the sleeves that hung down from his cardigan. Clearly, he was worried for the creative trait.

"I have noticed his behavior is very out of the ordinary, especially for him," Logan answered quietly. He was staring down at a jar of Crofters, twirling his spoon inside it absentmindedly. "Did any of you hear what he said during our Crofters Musical?"

Virgil glanced at Logan and nodded slightly. "He seemed . . . Jealous. That's not a normal Princey thing. He wasn't even that arrogant in that video."

Patton suddenly stood, letting his sleeves fall back down to his chest. He started walking down the hall.

"Patton, where are you going?" Logan asked, standing and hurrying after him.

"To talk to Roman. I'm worried about him."

Virgil quietly followed behind them, burying his hands in his pocket. Though he would never admit it, he cared about Roman, and didn't want him to be upset.

The three sides stood outside of a bold red door, covered in bright golden glitter.

Patton stepped forward to knock. His hand was mere centimeters above the door when he froze. The other two leaned forward, and they all heard voices inside the creative side's room.

"Look at you, you're so pathetic. No wonder no one likes you." The voice sounded eerily familiar to the sides outside the door, but no one seemed to know truly who it was.

"I know! I know!" Roman said. His voice was much louder, and upon further listening, it sounded like he was...sobbing.

"They're all so much better than you. No one likes an arrogant prince with terrible ideas," the unknown voice said, the tone sounding like a hiss.

At this, Patton decided he's had enough. He dropped to his knees, pulling out a bobby pin and working at the lock. He stood, then turned the knob.

The door swung open to reveal Roman, sitting crossed-legged on his bed with tears streaming down his face. In front of him stood a person, their features hidden by a long, black cloak with the hood pulled up and over their face.

"Ooh, lookie. You were crying too loud, and now they're hear to tell you to shut up," the person said. "Anyways, see ya soon, Creativity." The figure disappeared in a blink of an eye.

Morality rushed over to Roman, sitting beside him and offering a bunch of tissues.

Logan and Virgil awkwardly stood back, neither of them knowing how to handle these kinds of emotions.
