It was about an hour later that I came out of the house, all smiles.

I absolutely loved the big old house.

The first thing I noticed were the two police cars, with lights flashing.

I recognized one of the cops. He would always show up at old lady Parsons' place when she called in the intruder complaints.

"Hey, Officer Seaman," I waved.

He drew his pistol and aimed it at me.

"Hands up."

'What the fuck,' I thought.

"What the fuck," I said aloud.

"What is your name?"

I was puzzled. I know the officer recognized me.

"It's me."

"Who me?" Officer Seaman yelled.

Did he want me to tell him who he was or who I was? I was more confused than ever.

"You are Officer Seaman and I am Krall Jones."

I saw him speak to Mr. Whitesnake.

He turned back to me.

"Are you injured or hurt or possessed in any way?"

'Possessed?'

"No, I am fine," I called back.

Officer Seaman lowered his gun.

"Come on," he waved at me.

I hurried through the iron gate.

The priest splashed what I assumed was holy water, on me. It stung my eyes a little.

Is there salt in holy water?

I just shook my head. These were some real strange people.

Mr. Whitesnake, still dressed in some ceremonial Indian costume, offered his hand.

"So nice to see you, again."

'Again?'

"Didn't you think I was coming back?"

"Of course, we all hoped so," he said, as he put his arm around my shoulder.

"So what did you think of the old girl?"

I looked at the clairvoyant. She wasn't bad, I supposed.

"Not her," Mr. Whitesnake laughed.

"The house."

I beamed a smile from ear to ear.

"I loved it."
