"Give me! Homework! NOW!" I panicked as I opened Jaein's backpack in a hurry that was on the chair. "Woah don't ruin my stuff birthday girl" jaein said and looked for the papers in her bag. She turned around and her back was facing me while I waited impatiently.

Today was my 18th birthday, and unfortunately we had school. But the worse part was that i totally forgot our homework that was given to us a week ago. Ugh I should've done it earlier, it's only morning and the day has already gone wrong.

"Here-" once I saw the papers in front of me I got it and ran as fast as possible leaving jaein dumbfounded. I ran to the bleachers near the field because I left my backpack there I sat down and started copying the long homework. And since I came early, I have a good amount of time.

Okay y/n you have one hour, you can do this!

I started writing down on the paper and focused on that and only that. Though it was summer the wind today was chilly so it was the perfect weather so I stayed outside.

It's already been 30 minutes and I only finished writing on one paper..

I still have to do three more...

I groaned loudly and kept on banging my head on a random book I got inside my backpack. "Why. Is. My. Life. So. Hard." I said in between hitting myself with the book.

"What are you doing?"

I look up in embarrassment to see haewon. She was my classmate and friend since 1st grade, though we're not that close but we're still really good friends.

"Hitting myself because why not?" I said sarcastically and put the book down. I heard haewon chuckle. She walked towards me and sat down beside me.

"You forgot the homework?" She asked. I nodded with a pout. "Isn't it your birthday?"

"Yeah it is actually.." I awkwardly said. She grabbed a piece of paper from me "well first of all, happy birthday. Second of all, since I'm a fast writer I'll help you with the homework" she smiled at me.

My eyes were wide with joy "really?! Omo thank you thank you thank you!" I clapped in excitement "yeah but you also write." I nodded and we both started working in silence.

We finished in less than 25 minutes or shall I say haewon. She writes so fast and her handwriting is still beautiful.

"Thank you so much." I told her "no problem." she smiled "I have to go now but happy birthday again." she kindly said before taking her black backpack and walked away.

I packed my stuff inside my backpack before heading to find jaein. She wasn't in our classroom, so she must be in class A.

"Jaein-" I said quietly but then got cut off by two bear hugs.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!" Jimin and Taehyung shouted gaining the attention of the whole classroom including Jungkook who was with his friends.

Oh god.

"It's her birthday?"

"Oh I forgot."
