"I told you." you stumble due to how fast your friend was dragging you by the wrist. "I don't want to go."
She stopped and looked at you. "Just this once. Look at you. You look so broken."
"I've been in this state for the past 2 weeks." You sighed. "Nothing can help me."
"Oh come on." she continued to walk to your destination which was the fountain.
Since You haven't been outside your room in so long, You squinted your eyes and tried to use you arm to cover your eyes.
You heard you best friend sighed. "Y/n. I would like you to meet someone."
You crashed your eyebrows in confusion. You thought she just wanted to go out with you.
You opened your eyes fully to see a boy, who looked the same age as you. His eyes were swollen from crying, he had dark circles under his eyes, and he looked so lifeless.
He was at the exact same state as you.
Your friend care fully spoke. "Y/n this is Jimin. Jimin this is y/n."
You made eye contact with him. None of you spoke. It was like you were both interacting with just your eyes, making you feel something weird on your stomach.
You couldn't speak, as you were tired. Tired of being like this.
He felt the same.
Your friend sat the both of you down on a bench. "I'll be back. Talk with each other okay?" She said before leaving.
You watched her walk in the distance before she completely disappeared. Silence took over.
You looked at the boy —Jimin, to see him staring at the ground and not doing anything. You wondered what happened to him to put him at a state like this.
"d-did you..perhaps break up with s-someone too?" You asked carefully. Not wanting to trigger him. He finally looked up, his eyes staring of at yours. Just by looking at his eyes, you could see the sadness, sorrow, and pain in them. And just by looking at his eyes, you knew the answer.
"Well I did too. And it all that jerks fault." you kicked a rock on the ground harshly. Tears started to form up.
"I didn't break up with her. She broke up with me." he finally spoke. You looked at him again unable to answer. The both of you stared of to nothing as you both needed time to think.
You both were at the exact same state. Two, heart broken teenagers.
Suddenly, realization hit you hard. You looked at him. "You know what." You said catching his attention, making him look up at you. "I'm not just gonna stay here and be like this. We need to find happiness. I'm not just going to let that jerk haunt my life forever. He doesn't deserve me for goodness sake!" You were determined. Committed to forget about everything that happened.
He smiled. Looking at your cute figure.
"So," you stood up. His eyes never leaving you. "You wanna go trough this with me?" You held your hand forward, waiting for him to decide.
You looked into his eyes and gave him a sincere smile. He smiled back and held your hand.
"Of course."
