Double update because first of all I haven't updated in a while, second of all the comeback date was released, and third of all I knew y'all needed a namjoon chapter

________

You stared at the paper in front of you, gripping your pen tightly.

Hearing a chair move, you watched as your classmate stood up from his seat and passed his paper to the teacher. It was almost as if your biggest nightmare has came through.

You were the last student in the classroom. Come on y/n. Think, think.

No matter how hard you tried to think, you couldn't think of an answer to fill up the question you were stuck in.

"Care to pass your paper anytime now y/n?" The teacher spoke, impatiently waiting. She sat in the front of the classroom. Since you were the only one left all her attention was on you. "You were supposed to be dismissed thirty minutes ago. You're going to miss your next class."

You gripped your hair tightly, feeling a wave of pressure inside of you. You didn't want to pass the test paper knowing that you wouldn't get perfect. Yes, some people would think otherwise but you were always a smart student.

Tears grew inside your eyes, stressing over that one question. You hated being alone while everyone had left finished with their paper. They probably guessed it like that guy who just left a while ago.

You could feel your teachers eyes concentrated on you. You felt many emotions frustrated, sad, and angry. It was very obvious that the teacher was annoyed.

Hearing the door open, you didn't bother to look as you were too busy contemplating on your mind for the answer. What if I just guess? No! I can't—

"You what?!" You heard your teacher shout, cutting off your thought.

Finally bringing your head up you saw a boy with his head down low as the teacher stared at him with frustration. "I gave you that paper this morning to answer. And now you're saying you lost it?"

Your eyebrows crashed together eves dropping their conversation.

The boy looked down in guilt. "I'm sorry ma'am. I uh...threw it by accident." He said, looking around a bit. "Can I retake it now?"

The teacher looked at him before sighing. "You're lucky that I have extra."

The boy bowed politely towards her and surprisingly sat beside you. You saw the teacher busy with her phone. You focused back on the paper. I don't have time for this.

Not gonna lie you felt a little bit comfortable since someone was here with you. You felt less pressured. Calming down, you looked back at the paper.

"Take your time. I, too have a lot to answer." You were shocked to see that boy lean in a bit towards you and whisper.

Feeling awkward, you let out a small smile and nodded. "Thanks."

He smiled, his dimples showing. "I'm namjoon." He whispered. You nodded once again. "I'm y/n."

You focused back on your paper and namjoon answered his. A lot of time has passed until you were finally done. You never noticed it but he was done with his paper from the very beginning. Whenever you would glance at him he would just pretend like he was still answering his.

He actually never lost his paper. Actually, it was sitting inside his backpack safe and sound. He knew his one and only crush was still inside the classroom frustrated of being alone. So he lied and stayed with you in the classroom to hopefully make you feel better.

Don't worry, I'll stay.

________

Inspired after I was like one of the only students left in the classroom frustrated with a test while everyone else was enjoying their break. It was late until I ended up passing my paper.
