Jin - partner

"Am i doing this right?" You asked yourself while using your hands to separate the yolk from the egg white. You glanced over at your cooking partner to see him pretty focused on what he's doing.

Today you had a cooking project in your class. You had to pair up and luckily, you got partnered up with your crush, Jin.

You let out a shriek. Watching the broken egg on the floor with the insides spilling out. With a nervous face, you slowly looked at your partner to see him sigh.

"Just cook the meat. I'll do the rest." He said and started cleaning up your mess for you. You felt horrible as you felt like he regretted partnering with you. You looked down and followed his order.

Jin did felt like he could've gotten a better partner he admits it. Looking around the room he saw all his classmates doing an amazing job with their partner. And Having an amazing cooking skill made him want to do the best. But it was hard since you were his partner.

Setting the pan on the stove you turned on the heat and placed the raw meat on top of it. You put on some seasonings on the meat for some flavor and waited for it to cook.

Resting your right hand on the table you Looked around and your eyes landed on Jin, who was busy chopping vegetables. You thought he looked attractive with his pink apron and awesome knife skills.

You indeed tried to do your best. You wanted to catch his attention and be a good partner because of this opportunity.

You stared at him for a long time with a smile in your face. But realizing you disappointed him made your smile fade.

You inhaled the air deeply. Catching a scent of what smells like something burning.

Your eyes grew wide. Realization hit you hard.

Quickly turning around. You witnessed the once perfectly good meat on fire. you let out a loud scream catching the attention of everyone.

You tried to blow the fire away in panic but it didn't work. You tried other ways to stop the fire but nothing worked.

Hurriedly turning the sink on with cupped hands and letting the water fill it like a makeshift bucket, you dropped the water over the flaming meat.

You sighed loudly and wiped the sweat of your forehead while looking at the fully burnt meat which was wet to since you had to stop the fire. You pouted, predicting major scolding from your teacher.

Meanwhile Jin watched you with slightly widened eyes. Watching you try numerous ways in panic somehow made him smile on how cute you were. He kinda liked having you as a partner.
