I sat there and held Appa's hands. It wasnt like his old warm comfy hand. It was cold and lifeless. As I was fixing his sleeves, I notice something on his wrist. I pulled the sleeve up and saw a star tattoo.

Appa had a tattoo? I've seen this before. But where?

"Jae-hwa! Hurry up. The guest are arriving." Hyun-Ae yelled.

When I walked to the front, there were so many people there. Some who I didn't even know.

A group of men came towards Appa's casket. As I watch them bow. I notice they each had the same star tattoo as Appa.

"lady Jae-Hwa, you may not know us but we were close to your father before he had your older sister. We are sad that we lost an amazing man" One of the man said.

"Thank you for coming." That was all I could say.

"Your majesty," They bowed to Jungkook. "It's an honor to meet you." The man didn't look happy to see Jungkook.

"Jimin," I whispered to my left.

"Yes?" He asked leaning close to me.

"I want you to check the guest that are here and tell me how many of them have star tattoos. But make sure they don't know that you are looking for it." Jimin looked at me confused but nodded his head.

"Please have a sit and get something to eat." I said pointing towards a table across the room.

After a while, there were so many people coming to see Appa. Many weren't happy to see Jungkook. And almost all of them said the same thing.

You're father was amazing

He was the kindest person ever

I was his friend back in the day

I'm sad that he had to leave so early

Did these people really actually know my father. How come I've never seen them before. Some even said they came from a different province. When things started to slow down and fewer people were here I sat down next to a sleeping han-kuk.

"Here," I looked up and saw Jungkook "You haven't eaten anything all day." I smiled and took the food.

" I was thinking that I should go home. I felt like something is going to happen. The people here aren't so happy with me being here." Jungkook said guiltily.

I held his hand, "I need you here. You are the reason why I'm still so strong right now." I placed my head on his shoulders. "Don't leave me."

"Okay."

"Lady Jae-hwa." Jimin jogged towards us. "There was a total of 100 men with those tattoos. Maybe more since I couldn't see any parts but there hands and neck. Which seems to be the most common place for those star tattoos." I nodded my head.

"Star tattoos?" Jungkook said confused.

"Appa has these stars tattoos on his wrist." Jimin walked towards Appa to look at it.

"It's exactly the same as those 100 men," Jimin asked.

"What does it mean?" Jungkook asked.

"I don't know, but there are clearly a lot of other people who have the same one." At the corner of my eye I saw my mom.

"Eomma, I have a question." I stood up and walked towards her. Jungkook and Jimin following me.

"What?"

"How come you never told me Appa had a tattoo?" She looked up at me.

"I found out up his tattoo the day we left the palace. I didn't even notice. For 28 years, I never saw it. Which makes me mad." I looked at her confused.
