Imogen Farien Avery was kneeling by the White Oak Tree, trying to revive the withered flowers at the base of the tree by replanting them. There was a sad look on her stunningly beautiful face when she realized it was no use and the flowers were already dead. She sighed heavily as she gently picked up the dead flowers.

"I am sorry, I could not save you." she mumbled under her breath.

The noirette gasped in surprise when suddenly the flowers in her hand and the flowers still on the soil returned to life.

"Oh, do not be sad now, my anchor."

Imogen turned and saw Kol Mikaelson standing behind her with a soft smile on his handsome face.

"Kol?"

Kol's smile turned to a grin as he knelt beside Imogen. "Smile now." he said softly.

Imogen's lips curled up into smile. "Thank you, Kol."

Kol chuckled softly. "You know, I would do anything for you, Imogen." he told her.

Imogen chuckled as well before standing up from the ground and Kol followed after her as they looked down at the blooming flowers of the tree.

Imogen placed her head gently on Kol's shoulder. "You said you do not want to use your magic anymore because of your mother."

Kol laughed softly. "I did but I promised to myself that I would secretly continue to for someone special." he said earnestly and looked down at Imogen with loving look on his face.

"I will use my magic for you, Imogen. Whatever happens to us in the future and wherever we are, I promise to use it to make you smile and protect you."

Imogen Avery was descending the stairs when she saw the Crescent wolves were gathered in the courtyard and smiled at them. The Crescents noticed one of their leaders and smiled back at her in greeting.

"Brother! Niklaus!"

Imogen's eyes widen when she heard Elijah Mikaelson's loud voice echoing throughout the compound as the Crescents looked at the Original vampire entering the courtyard.

Imogen walked over to Elijah with a quirk eyebrow. "Elijah, you do realize that literally everyone in here has supernatural hearing, right?" she said sarcastically.
