Imogen Farien Avery was worried as she watched Elijah Mikaelson lying on his bed. He was breathing erratically, his face was covered in a thin sheen of sweat and his muscles were tense as if though he was being overwhelmed by fear.

Imogen tightly intertwined her hand with his and closed her eyes trying to get into his head so she could wake him up.

"Elijah? I know you're in there. I'm here for you. I'm here to help you. So, please, hear my voice."

Elijah suddenly twitched anxiously in his sleep. Imogen took a deep breath and opened her eyes in surprise when a gentle hand was placed on top of hers. She turned her head to look who it was and smiled. It was Klaus Mikaelson.

"Our mother thinks she will win because she has left you alone, but you are not alone. Let us in." Klaus said and placed his free hand on Elijah's chest.

Imogen turned to Elijah and closed her eyes. She focused and tried to enter his head again as she did so Elijah's body went rigid as though he has been shocked and his muscles began to seize and spasm painfully while Imogen and Klaus continued trying to get in his head.

"Let us help end whatever torment she has forced upon you."

"Elijah, hear our voices. You're not alone. Nik and I are here for you. So, please!"

Imogen and Klaus' noses began to bleed and they got a glimpse of the dreams Elijah has been having. Feeling overwhelmed, Imogen screamed while Klaus groaned in pain as he quickly took his hand away from Elijah before pulling the noirette close to him, breaking her connection with Elijah.

Klaus protectively wrapped his arms around Imogen, who looked exhausted. "My love?" he asked in concern.

Imogen looked at Klaus and smiled assuringly. "I'm fine, Nik." she said softly.

"Imogen!?"

Both Imogen and Klaus turned as the door of Elijah's room burst open and Hayley Marshall rushed in.

"What's going on!?" Hayley asked worriedly as she went beside Imogen, seeing her bloody nose and quickly wiping it.

Klaus unwrapped his arms around Imogen and wiped the blood from his nose. "We're trying to enter Elijah's thoughts to wake him." he told Hayley and gestured to Elijah, who was still sleeping fitfully. "Esther's locked us out."

Hayley frowned as she walks over to Elijah and noticed a flower petal-shaped wound on his neck. "Is this rash a side effect of the witchy acid trip he's on?" she asked worriedly.
