AJ went through a roller coaster of emotions in the couple of chapters before with her finding out her mom was actually her step mom and that her dad raised her alone until he found someone. With time she found herself a person to lean and that was Hunter. Enemy turned into boyfriend. She was so happy with how life turned out to be. She got more back into racing and helping her dad out. In the last chapter she finds out her real mom is alive and invites her over for a dinner without her dad not knowing. It was a difficult in the beginning situation but eased in real quick. She's never seen her dad so happy and she found herself at peace and finally in a family. She was happy Hunter was by her side through out.
