Chapter 23

Nash's POV

I woke up and heard my family in my kitchen. I turned over and noticed Skylar wasn't beside me.

I got up and walked into the kitchen.

I saw Skylar and wrapped my arms around waist and gave her a kiss.

"Good morning" I said.

"It's actually the afternoon" she said and laughed.

"How long have you been up?" I asked Skylar.

"Around and hour."she said.

"You are a really heavy sleeper" Skylar said and laughed.

I sat down beside Skylar on one of the chairs at the kitchen table and ate lunch.

As we finished eating, Skylar put her plate in the sink.

"Well I think I should get going now, thank you for the lunch. Bye" she said and waved.

I got up and walked her to the door.

"We are hanging out later and you have no say in this. So in like 2 hours. See you then bae." I said and gave her a kiss.

"Bye" she said with a smile and walked home.

I walked back into the living room and went to go clean up the couch since there were blankets all over it.

I walked over to the couch and started folding the blankets.

As I finished, I noticed a folded piece of paper on the floor.

I was curious to see what it said on the inside.

I hesitated at first because it could be Skylars, and whatever it says on the inside could be a grocery list, but whatever it is, it's most likely non of my business.

But my curiosity go the best of me, and I opened it.

It had a phone number on it.

At first I was a bit confused, then I remembered last night when Skylar was flirting with that guy.

I felt hurt, mostly because Skylar kept the number.

But now I'm furious with her. She shouldn't be getting any other guys phone number unless it's a family member.

I walked upstairs to get changed cause we are hanging out later

I'm still really mad at her.

Skylar's POV

I walked out of Nash's house with a smile on my face.

I'm extremely happy since our date went very well last night.

I opened the door to my house and saw my mom on the couch drinking coffee, watching the news.

"Hi mom" I said while closing the door behind me.

She took her eyes off the T.V and looked at me, and smiled.

"Hi honey, how did your date go?" She asked.

I took a seat on the couch beside her.

"It went awesome. Probably one of the least chaotic we've been on."

"I told you guys, you would end up dating, and look at you two now."

I laughed.

She turned her attention back on the T.V.
