*Your POV*
I had a giant crush on Carl. It was OBVIOUS fo everyone in the prison. One problem, Lizzie. Carl clearly liked Lizzie and followed her around like a puppy seeing a bone. Basicay drooling over her.
"Hey Y/n." Glenn says entering my cell.
"Oh.. hey Glenn." I said, twiddling my fingers.
"Whats wrong?" He asked me, sitting on the bed with me. Waiting anxiously for an answer. "Is it Carl?" He finished.
"Yeah.." I said. "I know he doesn't like me. I don't know what love is or how to feel about it." You finished.
"You're young! You aren't supposed to know what love is," He chuckled out, "But, you can ask him-." I cut him off.
"Ask him? Are you crazy." I said.
"Fine. I'll do it." Glenn finished and walked out. I didn't stop him or attempt to. It's time Carl knew. I've been with him since we started kindergarten together! Our parents were.. are best friends. My parents are gone. Carl's lucky.

Carl walked in my cell as I was reading a comic book I found in the library.
"Glenn told me you liked me." He said, raising an eyebrow.
"I do." I said, continuing to 'read' my comic but not really reading it.
"Oh.. well I like someone-." I cut him off.
"Carl, I don't know what love is. I will never know unless you give me a chance. I look at you, and I see maybe the love of my life.. but I also look at you and see you looking at her and her looking back at you! That hurts, Carl, it really does.." I finish, sighing and putting my comic down.
"I didn't know you feel like that.. I'm sorry." He said, looking down.
"Yeah, I get it. Everyone never sees it." I say, looking down as well.
"I was gonna say.. I like someone too. I've made some mistakes by not seeing her pain, but outside of all that pain is a beautiful girl." He said, smirking at me.
"Bet she's amazing." I said.
"She is." He finished, he bent down a little bit to my level, grabbed my chin gently and pressed a soft kiss on my lips.
