"What? What do you mean?" Dawn asked pulling back.

"We got to go. Someone's attacking the tower." Bucky said making an attempt to hoist her out the room.

He succeeded.

"But my homework is in there?" She yelled as they ran down the emergency stairs.

"You can leave it."

"But won't school be mad?" She asked as they came down on the next floor.

"Don't worry about that. We need to get you out." Bucky said pushing her along.

"Where's everyone?" She asked.

"I- I don't know"

"Who's doing this?" Dawn yelled as a horrible shudder shook the tower.

"I don't know. But we need to move. GO!" Bucky yelled.

Suddenly, they couldn't go any further. The stairs were blocked off, had caved in.

"Go" Bucky said pushing her through the door and into the room.

Dawn stumbled and fell as the tower shook again as it was hit.

"Bucky." She whispered.

Bucky turned to her, his eyes wild. He made his way slowly to her. And held her close.

"It's okay." He whispered.

'We're coming for you' A voice whispered.

What? She thought looking around.

'You better start running.' It said again.

"Stop." She whispered holding her head in her hands.

The voice continued.

"STOP" She yelled over everything.

'We've got You now.'

"SHUT. UP!" She yelled startling Bucky.

"Dawn. What's wr-" He was cut off as the tower shook again, sending the roof crumbling.

Bits of it hit her. Bucky. Where was Bucky?

Dawn looked up as a cracking sound sounded above.

The roof was just about to cave in on her.

She shielded her head, trying to protect herself.

It was just about to collapse when something began holding it up.

"Bucky" She whispered. He was holding it up.

"You need to go" he said as his voice strained with effort.

'We told you. We've got you'

"You need to go. NOW"

"Dawn I can't hold it much longe-"

The tower shook again as it was hit. It was a bigger hit this time. Sending them flying.

Roof fell on top of Dawn as she managed to see where Bucky had landed.

He was on the other side of the room. The roof had caved in and landed on top of him. Something had gone through his chest.

"Bucky.." she called out.

He didn't stir.

"Bucky." She croaked louder this time.

The tower shook again as more of the roof caved in. He still wasn't stirring.

"Bucky.." She whispered.

The last thing she saw was the glint of Bucky's metal arm through the rubble.
