Dawn turned quickly around. "Gagh." She said clutching her side.
Bucky was still there.
"Bucky." She whispered.
He was there. Resting. He looked like he was in too much pain. That's when she saw that he had been bleeding.
"Peter is he going to be okay?" She asked looking back at him.
"He'll be okay. Doctors said he just needs to sleep." He saw her look distraught. "Hey hey hey. Shh. It's okay. He's okay. You'll be okay." He said comforting her when he realised she was almost in tears.
He started to stroke her hair. "It'll be okay." He murmured.
"How long has I stayed here?" She asked as Peter continued to stroke her hair. She didn't mind though.
He looked uncomfortable. "You've been here for nearly a month."
"I've only just woken now." She said as her voice lowered.
"No. Kind of. You've been in and out of it for a while now." He said. "Stupid Peter. You're not helping things." He muttered to himself.
Dawn frowned. "I don't like this place."
"You mean the hospital?"
"Yes. I don't like it. It just, reminds me of somewhere. But I. I don't know where"
"You'll be out soon." Peter reassured.
"Okay" She Replied. She shot up again. Groaning as clutched her side again. "Has Flash Come?"
Peter stiffened. "Would you like me to be honest with you?"
"Yes please"
"No. Not once."
Dawn shrunk back. "How do you know he hasn't come."
Peter looked rigid. "Because."
"Because why?"
"Because I've been here everyday, okay? Just trust me."
Water could be seen brimming in her eyes.
"Has Ned come?"
"Yeah. He's just downstairs with everyone else."
"Everyone, everyone?"
"Everyone." He conformed. "They'll be up soon."
It was silence after that. Not an awkward silence. Kind of, a nice one.
"Hey, Peter?"
"Mmm."
"Thanks."
"For what?"
"For staying here with me."
