"So...." Peter said as the waiter brought him his drink. "Alice huh? You parents picked a beautiful name."

Alice tensed up. "I picked this name."

Peter watched her. "Sorry."

"No it's fine." She said as she took a bite out of her food.

"Are your parents living near here?" He asked her. Alice started ripping the napkin under the table.

"No. They, don't live here. They're somewhere else."

"Oh. You live by yourself then?"

"Yeah." She said relaxing. "It's great. I can have my Star Wars posters up anywhere and no one can tell me off." She said smiling.

"Wait one second, you like Star Wars?" Peter asked leaning in.

"No." She whispered. "I love it!" Alice yelled as everyone turned to stare at her.

"Oops." She said stifling laughter.

Peter smiled at her. This was amazing. He thought. It's just great to talk to someone like this. Someone who listened.

"Flash" Dawn yelled as she ran up to him.

Flash held a bloody tissue as he was going to his locker. "What?"

"You and me. We're back on." She said.

"That sounds like a plan."

"But first you have to apologise."

"Not to Peter.."

"To me. For hitting me?" She said pointing the red mark in her cheek.

"Sorry Dawn." He said quietly.

"Good. Now." She said leading him out. "Let's go get some lunch."
......................................................

Peter and Alice were having a blast. She made him forget about Dawn and he helped her smile again.

That was until Dawn walked in with her arm linked through Flash's.

Dawn looked over at the two and scowled as she started coming towards them, a dark look in her eyes.

No one heard her, except Peter. No one saw her when Alice cried barley above a whisper. "No."

Alice grabbed Peter and kissed him.
