2 weeks later

"Don't let nobody we don't know in here." My dad said as him and my mom got ready to go on their business trip. "We're taking Ruby to grandma house because we don't want her to be in the way. Rashad your the man of this house while I'm gone, therefore if anything happen I going to blame you." He said pointing at Rashad. Rashad nodded his head

"Don't break anything and y'all better not have no damn party in my house." My mom said heading towards the door. "Jewel I'm counting on you baby, don't let me have to beat you and Rashad ass about my house." I nodded. "I love you both and hold it down while were gone." She kiss our cheek and my dad did the same to me. He hug and dap up Rashad while whispering something in his ear.

"Voy a matar a usted si ha pasado algo (I'm going to kill you if something happen)." My dad whisper in Rashad ear but it wasn't really a whisper. I laugh cause the death glare my daddy was giving Rashad was crazy. I never knew Rashad being scared of somebody but I know for a fact he is terrified of my dad.

"Okay okay dad I got you." He told him. With that they left out the door with Ruby right behind them

"Bye mommy, Bye daddy, Bye Ruby." I yelled while waving. They wave back my dad put my mom and Ruby bags in the trunk and got in the car. They back their way out the drive way. Me and Rashad pounce down on the den couch.

"You and my nigga still mad at each other." He ask while I stroll through Instagram on my phone. Javoun bought me a new iphone 5s like I had before but he still not talking to me. I been trying and trying to reach out to him but he just keep pushing me away. He's being to damn childish about this

"I'm not mad at him but I guess he still mad at me. Why?" I ask finally looking up from my phone

"Because him and Devon about to come over here and play 2k14 with me." He said suddenly smiling at his phone

"I hope they bringing their girlfriend.. Which is my babies mommas." I said looking at him sideways

"Naw Rainy's grandma in town and Starr visiting her great Aunt in the nursing home." I rolled my eyes and look back down at my phone. My phone start ringing and I look to see a call coming from August. I then remember why me and Javoun wasn't talking in the first place. Ughh I miss my baby and I wish he would stop being so damn stubborn and just come back to me. I answer the phone and their was a knock at the door

"Hello."

"Whaddup Ma." I heard his Nola accent roll from his tongue and made me just melt inside but I kept it together tho

"Hey Wassup Aug." Suddenly I seen Javoun and Devon coming in the den behind Rashad. Devon nodded at me and Javoun didn't even make eye contact. Wtf I rolled my eyes and dismiss my self from the den to my room

"Nothing I just called to see what your doing since I'm in town." He said through the phone

"Oh I'm not doing anything I'm just bored. My girls busy."

"What about your man?" I blush but then I rolled my eyes

"He's here but he's not talking to me."

"Why because of me?" He said laughing a little

"I guess but what's funny."

"It's funny because if he letting me get between y'all then he just dumb. I mean you sexy as hell and any nigga will love to take your little ass under their wing. That little nigga better tighten up." He told me and I nodded as if he could see me

"I know right."

"I'm going to text you the address to my Hotel."

"Iight boy .. My phone about to go dead." I said
