Rick and Lori had been walking back to the main camp when they could see Maggie running to them. Lori's eyes widened as she ran to her, clearly shocked. As Maggie approached them, she had a look of fear on her face, too.
"Beckah's passed out.. she's got a faint pulse," Maggie explained as she huffed, a bit out of breath. "I can't find dad."
Rick rose an eyebrow as Lori followed Maggie back to the house. He then looked over to see Shane and Andrea walking back to the camp. They were both laughing softly, at one another.
"Shane, Andrea," Rick called over to the two as they both looked up at him.
Andrea stopped, looking at Rick. "Yeah?" She said before starting a new conversation, "By the way, we're burning bodies tomorrow. We bury the ones we love."
"That's fine." Rick said as he walked over to the two.
Shane could see worry on Rick's face, as a bit of anger was still there. Except this time, the anger was directed to Shane, almost. "
"Come with me." Rick said as he motioned Shane, "Andrea, I need you to check in on Beckah."
Andrea gave him a small nod before he walked off with Shane behind him. Ethan and Nick looked at the two walking off, seeing Andrea left behind.
"What's up?" Ethan asked, looking at the blonde.
She turned to the Ethan and Nick, sighing, "I'm not exactly sure, I think something's wrong with Beckah."
Andrea spoke as she began to walk to the house. Nick and Ethan stayed put, though they did have a few questions.
Ellen made quick work of running through the forest. She was close to the road, as she always made sure not to venture to far off from the road. She was always alert. She never let her guard down; not for a second. As the sun was setting, she knew she had to make quick work. It was inevitable. She had been alone, with only a little bit of food. Walkers were in the woods, of course, but she ran just enough so that they wouldn't be able to catch up. It was calm and peaceful outside, which was a great change from the loud streets of Atlanta. Though, the streets weren't filled with cars or horns. They were filled with groans from walkers.
With the sun setting, Ellen knew she had to find shelter. She knew where she was; she had family out in the area. Though most likely dead. She turned on Walnut Ave. and made it to the large fields. There was a four-way ahead, as part of it had been repaved. Better support for her running, Ellen thought. The field was empty of walkers. The area had seemed empty for the most part.
As she approached the four way, she could see a sign that read, "18 miles to.." and the rest was etched out. She shrugged at the thought. She knew the town that was 18 miles away had a small population, and lots of farms, but a FEMA shelter, which would draw more and more people in. Ellen knew about herds, as well. She thought it was best to stay away.
As she was in the middle of the four way, she looked down the road that was directly across the one that she came from. She could see two bodies, however, they were not dead corpses that'd walked. They were two people that were alive. She slowly took her gun from her belt, and rose it slowly to point at the two bodies. Precaution, she thought.
Upstairs in the farm house, Shane and Rick searched Hershel's room. Suicide, had crossed Rick's mind for his disappearance, but it wasn't a dominant thought. There was a suitcase on the bed with what looked like a woman's wedding dress, and other belongings. Shane looked at it, and didn't know if Hershel was into kinky shit, or what, but he shrugged it off. He then saw a flask on the bed, as it was empty when he picked it up. Maggie walked into the room as Rick examined the clothes in the suitcase.
