"Thank you, Vivora, for accepting my invitation.”

The sneaky girl smirked at me. Hindi ko alam kung magandang bagay ba iyon o ano.

"You dont have to. Our blood seeks war. We've love to be part of this shit. Kailan nga ulit ito magaganap?"

The thought creep me again.

"Bukas ng gabi. Romanov already stationed his people at some places outside Romania. Tyga is trying to know where so that we can dispatch some of ours to fight them. Until now, hindi ko alam kung paano o posible ba natin magapi si Romanov..."

To my surprise natigilan ako sa halakhak ni Vivora. Sinabayan siya ng higit sampu na kasama niya mimicking her lively laughter.

Diana Demostale who was having her good time combating meters away from where we are and Vivora Felestin are far related cousins.

Nahuli lamang dumating ang pack ni Vivora sa Romania. They have the blood lust for war, malayong-malayo sa pack ng mga Demostale and I need them.

"Hindi ka pa nga tumatapak sa labanan, Cassandra. Ano ang plano mo may I know?"

A visible smirk played on her lips.

"As soon as the attack starts, we will burn the forest para hindi na makalagpas pa ang mga bampira palabas ng Romania or better die with the fire.

While those who already are in different places, hindi na sila mahirap gapiin if they are less in number. Halos lahat ng sundalo ni Romanov ay baguhan.

They might be strong but uncontrolled. A blood bank will be used to lure them to their deaths.

Ang mga kasama nating bampira ay mga beterano sa pagcontrol ng kanilang hunger for blood. It won’t be a problem.

Mas mapapadali ang pagpaslang sa kanila if they lose control."

"That's it?"

May pang-uyam sa kaniyang tinig. I felt insulted. Namalayan kong nakalapit na sina Diana at kaniyang mga kasama. Ganoon din ang ilan pang mga bampira at lobo na kasama naming lalaban.

"That's rude, Vivora,” says Diana.

"Okay from the blood suckers...oops, sorry. I am not really used to work with y’all. Gusto ko lang malaman. Ano ba ang totoong kahinaan ninyo na maaaring ikamatay in a blink?"

I looked at them.

"Poisoned blood."

"Sun."

"It burns us. Literally."

May mga ilan na nagsabi pa but one particular thing caught my attention.

"The sun. Aunt Glena!" Nilingon ko siya na nakatayo ‘di kalayuan sa gubat kung nasaan kami ngayon.

It was the protected forest cast by Imong before that kept it hidden for years now. Dito lamang kami maaaring magpulong na ‘di nalalaman ng kahit sino.

"Yes, princess?”

"The moon will come out as early as the night falls right?"

"Yes, but Romanov intends to do it in the midst because humans are vulnerable at this hour."

I need to delay it. I need to do something to delay it. Shit think!

"Hmm I know what you are thinking. But is it worth it?"

Tinignan ko ang nagsalita.

“Every thing is worth it if it is all about lives, Vivora. We're going to fight for our own life, for our packs, for our families and friends. Every possible ways are worth it."

"Even if it means your life?"
She gave me the challenging smirk.

"Yes,” I replied firmly.

Even if it means that I need to die in the process of saving others? I will.

"All you need is to kill and stop Romanov's people. I will try to kill him as soon as the blood bath starts, in that way mawawalan ng dahilan ang mga tauhan niya to pursue it. If we are able to extend the fight till the sun is out. Every single vampire apart from those that are ours, will be executed."

Lahat ay sinang-ayunan ako. Namalayan ko ang pagtapik ni Tyga sa aking balikat.
A slight smile is plastered on his lips.

"Take a rest," he said. Hinarap niya ang lahat.

"That's for today. Return to your training and rest. There's a bloodbath that awaits us."

Isa isa ang paglayo nila saamin.
We are left in the midst.

"I repeat, take a rest." Pinisil niya ako sa balikat. He has grown to be fond of me.

Hindi na ang malamig at walang emosyon na Tyga na nakilala ko sa mga unang linggo ko rito.

"I can't..."

"Shhh you will. Let's go. May pupuntahan tayo."

Hinila niya ako . Naramdaman ko ang pag labas namin sa barrier.

"Romanov..."

"Don't worry. He thinks that there is something going on between you and me,” aniya.

Napalingon agad ako sa kaniya.

"He thinks it’s a good idea."
There's a smile creeping in his lips.

"What do you mean?"

He just shrugged his shoulders.

"Hindi tayo mag-aalala na magpunta sa burol. Ready to run princess?"

He gave me a challenging smirk. Hindi na ako sumagot bagkus ay mabilis na akong tumakbo.

I felt the world turned into a fast forward movie scene. Narinig ko ang mga yapak niya sa aking likuran.

I prepared myself to jump, nahagilap ko ang isang mataas na puno at tinalon ko iyon. Above the trees I continued jumping off by the trunks. Nararamdaman kong nasa likuran ko lamang si Tyga so I laughed harder.

Damn the man. I thought hindi niya man lang ako maabutan.
Sa aking pagtalon ng mataas ay nakasabay ko siya. Malawak ang ngisi na ibinigay niya sa akin.

"Oops…"

Narinig kong wika niya nang maunahan ako.

I groaned. But felt my adrenaline. Napangisi ako.

"Ouch!"

I stumbled down from a tall tree. Mabilis akong umupo at ipinulupot ang kamay sa aking kaliwang paa. In a blink Tyga was beside me worried.

"Cassandra what happened? Tell me, Did you fall and hit the ground?"

"Hmm-mm,"

I hummed and  showed him my bitchy smile before I started running again.

I laughed hard like nothing else to worry about. Like there was no battle that awaits us.

"Urgh! You're a sexy bitch!"

He joked. Malakas lang na tawa ang sinagot ko.

Nauna akong nakarating sa burol. No it wasn't just a hill. Its a cliff. Down was a fast current of waves from the ocean.

"Don't get near or you'll die."

I looked back and looked worried about Tyga

"You are one step closer to death are you aware of that?"

I saw his gray eyes. In the darkness. I am alone near the cliff with a stranger.

It was our first real meeting.

Vander showed me there and then who he really is after I saw his eyes shift from gray to yellow green.

And right then, I knew, I fell in love with a monster.

A monster that I chose over and over again but I was never enough.

"Cassandra? Why…"

Mabilis akong lumapit sa kaniya at yinakap siya nang mahigpit.

"I miss him." Hindi ko na
mapigilan ang pag hikbi.

"I really miss him."

"Lucky bastard."

Naramdaman ko ang pag pulupot ng braso niya sa akin.

"Forget about him" Tyga whispered.

“At least tonight. "

Naramdaman ko ang mga tulo ng luha ko na bumabasa sa damit niya.

"I... I can't."  I cried even more.

"I…I am always here for you."

Tiningala ko siya. His red eyes glisten as it touches the light.

"Thank you," I mumbled.

"Se agapó, princess. Se agapó."
