It was love at first sight. He knew he needed to have you in his life. His only plan was to pick up the pieces and create something beautiful with you and him. It was hard to be together though. You didn't want commitment and were afraid of falling in love. He wanted to give you a chance by just being with him and if things didn't turn out right then you can just knock down what you built.
