Both boys went wide eyed at Scarlett's scream, rushing in the room like their life depended on it, and found the cause for it. Zane quickly approached the unconscious girl and he faced her upright, looking at the wound to her head closely.

"I-Is she dead? Please tell me she isn't dead!" Scarlett panicked, kneeling next to her friend and shaking her frantically, "Come on, Mia! Wake up, please!"

"She isn't dead, just unconscious." The nindroid assured her, resting a hand on her shoulder, a kind smile on his face, making Scarlett feel relieved, "But I must inform the other Ninja of this and get them over here right away." He placed a hand to the side of his head, as he reached communication with the other Ninja, "Guys, we may have run into a problem when going to retrieve the girls. One of them was attacked and she's blacked out. We're at the apartment building across the street from where you are."

"On our way...! We'll be there in a few minutes..." The connection disconnected before Zane could respond to the Green Ninja's voice.

A few minutes passed, Zane removing the small pieces of glass embedded in the skin on Mia's forehead, just as Lloyd, Jay, and Cole entered the room and through the door, which was left open.

"Oh my god...!" Cole gaped, putting a hand over his mouth in shock. "How did this even happen in the first place?"

Lloyd ignored him, walking over and kneeling next to her, Zane removing the last of the glass from her head, but the blood was still seeping from the wound. Scarlett looked to the two boys and without needing to be asked, she jumped to her feet and found the first-aid kit, after looking through many of the cupboards in the kitchen.

"Here!" She shoved the first-aid kit in Zane's hands, and he nodded to the girl, as she went back and sat by her friend's side.

Lloyd helped the White Ninja, lifting Mia slightly off the ground and removing her hood off her head, knowing well that they couldn't bandage her up properly with it on. He blinked a few times at her, as he set her back down, his eyes staring down at her red locks. Shaking his head, he turned as Zane took out the gauze pads, placing them to Mia's head and wiping away and stopping the blood.

"I'm almost finished." Zane muttered, his mind focused on treating Mia's wound, as he placed another gauze pad to it, before bandaging it up, wrapping it around her whole head. "And... Done."

Scarlett shook the redhead lightly, "Mia...? Can you hear me?"

Mia groaned at Scarlett's call, coming back to reality as she opened her eyes a little, finding everyone standing around her. She held her head from the pain, "Why does it feel like something hit me in the head...?"

"Because something did..." Scarlett frowned, helping her sit up but making sure she didn't push herself, "But we have no idea how it happened. Do you remember anything before you blacked out?"

Mia nodded a little, "Yeah, I think so... I remember walking into the room and then the lamp hit me," she motioned over to the glass lamp across from them, "then I heard a voice, it sounded... unnatural. He wanted to hurt me and he told me that he was gonna come for me and my friend, which I assume is you."

"This isn't good," Lloyd frowned, turning to look at the others. "This means that the shadows know where they are. They aren't safe here anymore."

"Safe?" Jay asked him in disbelief, his voice becoming more panicky. "They were never safe here to begin with! We could of prevented this from ever happening if we just knocked out both the girls and took them back with us!"

Mia huffed and crossed her arms, "You know, that would make me believe that you actually were trying to kidnap me, which I still think you are. And I would just run away, anyway."
