Draco and I stayed in the Room of Requirement for a little while longer. I had stopped crying, and I was feeling a bit better than before. My strength was slowly returning to my body

Draco suddenly shifts, and gets up from where he was sitting beside me. I open my eyes from where I was laying beside him "where are you going?" I ask as he gets up "just wait here. I'll be back"

My eyebrows furrow, but for once I do as he says. I wait, and freeze when I hear the record that had been spinning ever since I first came into this room go quiet.

And then music started to play. A nice, soft, catchy tune filled the room. Draco re-appears, and I lift my eyebrow in confusion "what is going on?" I ask, a small smile creeping it's way on my face

"May I have this dance?" Draco asks dramatically, extending his hand to me. A small smile appeared onto my face as I take his hand

"I warn you, I am a terrible dancer" Draco says as he holds my hand in his, his arm around the small of my back

"Maybe we'll just slow dance then? Seeing as I don't know how to dance either" I say, wrapping both my arms around his neck

He nods in agreement, and wraps both arms around me

"I lied" Draco says, a smirk on his face "lied about what?" I ask, a frown on my face. Draco steps away from me, and grabs my hand "I am a terrific dancer"

He swirls me around, and I started giggling like crazy "oh please!" I exclaim, my smile widening as we swing around the little clearing in the room, the music still playing in the background

We slowly dance, every once in a while Draco would spin me, causing the both of us to laugh

When the record stopped playing, Draco and I kept swinging. My head rested on his shoulder comfortably

"I'm so glad I have you" Draco whispered, resting his head on mine. My heart swelled in my chest at his words

"I'm glad I have you too"

I felt him sigh under me "things are going to get so much more complicated, aren't they?"

I nod, and take my head off his shoulder to look at him "but we'll be alright. We made it through last year, we can make it though this year"

Draco laughs softly, "last year was terrible. I was terrible to you" his eyebrows furrow together, his eyes glistening. "I vow to never be like that to you again. From now on we're completely honest with each other"

I nod, remembering all the fights we had and all the cruel things we had said to each other. I never wanted our relationship to be like that again. "I'm on board with that" I reply with a soft smile. I rest my head back on his shoulder "And for one, I was also kind of mean to you" I pause, remembering what I was feeling last year

"I never did stop caring about you, you know. Even though I said I did. I was lying" I admit, a slight blush coming to my cheeks as I admitted that.

I felt Draco chuckle, he leans in close to my ear and whispers "you don't think I knew that?"

I roll my eyes playfully "you really saw right through me? I doubt it"
