Yearning ➸ Draco Malfoy

𝖳𝗁𝗂𝗋𝗍𝗒-𝖥𝗈𝗎𝗋

Staying at Hogwarts all alone during Easter Holiday was proving to be one of the most boring things I've ever done in my whole life.

Sitting in the Room of Requirement, on top of my makeshift bed staring at the walls all hours of the day was proving to be exceptionally torturous and boring

So I had started to wander the halls of the castle; and even go out on the grounds for fresh air.

Because all my friends had gone home, no one would be worried if I spent an hour outside of the Room of Requirement, so I took my time outside of the room.

It was nice to get the fresh air, and because the weather was getting slightly better; the air wasn't frigid cold

I was sitting at the bottom of a tree, eyes closed blissfully as a slightly warm breeze blew over my skin when I heard the crack of a stick a little distance behind me

I grab my wand from my pocket, eyes open and alert. I stay completely still, hoping it was an animal

But it wasn't, I heard Human footsteps, and they were coming straight towards me.

I get up from my sitting position and hide behind the tree, wand gripped in my hand and a defensive spell ready on my tongue

I take a deep breath as the footsteps were getting closer. I grit my teeth and jump out from my hiding spot, pointing my wand at the person

I almost say the curse that I had prepared when I stop

"Draco?"

I whisper, astonished when I see him in front of me. He had an anxious look on his face, and when he saw me he came rushing over to me

"What are you doing here?" I ask him, but he doesn't say anything and grabs my hand "I don't have time to explain. I told you I can apparate out of here right?" I shake my head, my mouth open and ready to ask a thousand questions

"Anyways" he says, looking around frantically "you and me are apparating out of here" he says.

"What? Why?" He doesn't answer me, just tightens his grip on my hand and heads for the gates

"Draco! Would you slow down and tell me what's happening?" I exclaim through gritted teeth. He sighs, annoyed

"Fine! Harry, Ron and Hermione got caught by some snatchers. They're at my house right now and I need your help in getting them out of there"

My eyes widen in shock "I've never apparated before" I whisper, my heart beginning to pound heavily in my chest. He shrugs "it's easy. Just like this"

I gasp when Draco's grip in my hand tightens even more, and his arm twists away from me; and before I know it we vanish out the air with a loud crack.

It felt like I was being forced down a small tube, my chest felt like it was caving in. I couldn't breath, and I couldn't see anything as everything was back. I did not like it one bit. But it was over before I knew it, leaving me with a nauseating feeling in my stomach

I cover my mouth with my hand, and will myself to not throw up "you okay?" Draco says, putting a hand on my shoulder. I nod my head, the feeling going away slightly
