Yearning ➸ Draco Malfoy

Once Snape was gone, it was as if a heavy weight had been lifted from the room. Students moved more freely, and the teachers were more relaxed.

As soon as McGonagall relit the torches, I went straight to Luna and gave her a big hug. I was happy to see her again, and to see that she was safe. When I pull away from her, that's when the screaming started.

First it was just a first year Hufflepuff, but then another started to scream. And then I realized why. Shivers went down my spine as I heard Voldemort's words whispered in my ear

"I know that many of you will want to fight. Some of you might even think to fight is wise. But this is folly. Give me Harry Potter. Do this and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave Hogwarts untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded. You have one hour."

The smile dropped from my face, and a cold feeling came over me

"What're you waiting for?Someone grab him!" Pansy shouted from the group of Slytherins. Immediately, Ginny steps out in front of him; wand in hand. I join her, and glare at Pansy.

"Students out of bed! Students in the corridor!" I turn to see Filtch running into the great hall, Mrs. Norris in his arms

"They're supposed to me out of bed you blithering idiot!" McGonagall says. "As it happens, Mr. Filch, Your arrival is most opportune. If you would, I would like you please, to lead Miss Parkinson and the rest of Slytherin house, from the hall" I raise my eyebrows at McGonagall's request

"Exactly where is it I'll be leading 'em to, ma'am?" Filtch asks, Mrs. Norris still in his arms.

"The dungeons would do"

Everyone started to cheer, but thats when I noticed Draco wasn't in the group of Slytherins. My eyebrows furrow in confusion, where could he be?

"I presume there is a reason for you being here, Potter. What is it you need?" McGonagall asks

"time professor. As much as you can give me" Harry asks

McGonagall nods "do what you have to do. I'll secure the castle" Harry turns to leave, but McGonagall calls after him "Potter?" Harry turns

"its good to see you"

Harry, Ron and Hermione went looking for the Horcrux. Which meant I was to help secure the castle. I didn't know exactly where to go, so I was just walking around the castle.

That's when someone grabbed grabbed me by my collar and yanked me away from the corridor into the shadows. I gasp and pull out my wand, pointing it straight at whoever grabbed me's neck

"Relax! It's just me" I hear Draco say, and I lower my wand

I exhale in frustration "you have got to stop doing that!" I hiss at Draco as I keep my wand in my hand "what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with the other Slytherins?" I question

Draco shook his head "no. I'm going to try and find Harry" my eyebrows knit together in confusion "what? Why?"

Draco sighs "because if I turn him in my parents and I would be forgiven by You Know Who"
