My jaw seemed to drop to the floor in amazement. They were really there, standing in front of me. All three of them in one piece

I jump down from the passageway and pull Hermione into a strong hug, tears of joy in my eyes. I hadn't seen her in a few months, and the only sign that I knew she was alive these past couple of weeks were from her screams of pain back at the Malfoy Manor

"You're here" I breath out, pulling Harry into a hug. It felt so nice to have them back. I engulf Ron into a tight hug; finally feeling as if a puzzle piece clicked back into place.

When I pull away from Ron, I look them over. I still couldn't believe they were back.

"So, what are you doing here?" I ask, breathless for some reason "No time to explain," Neville says, lightly touching my arm C'mon guys, this passageway takes you right to the Room of Requirement"

"Neville, what happened to you? You look-" "like hell I reckon" He said, interrupting Harry with a smirk on his face "it's the Carrows. They're pure evil they are"

I hadn't really thought about it until now. We must've really looked disheveled and in horrible shape.

Neville has bruises and cuts from many detentions with the Carrows, and I had left over scars from my time with them. Not to mention both of us had dark circles under our eyes from lack of sleep and sickly skin from malnourishment; seeing as we only got one meal a day from the Hogs Head Inn

We help the trio into the passageway, and together we make the trek back to the castle. I was so happy my friends were back, and that they were okay.

"I don't remember this being on the Marauders map" Harry commented, squinting in the darkness to make sure he didn't trip over anything

"That's because it didn't exist until now. The seven passageways were sealed off at the beginning of the year. This is the only way in or out of the castle. Seeing as the grounds are crawling with Death Eaters and Dementors" Neville explains

That was news to me, seeing as I had spent time in the woods on the grounds during Easter holiday without a problem

"How's Snape as Headmaster?" Harry asks us curiously

"hardly ever see him," I say "it's the Carrows you have to look out for"

"The Carrows?" Hermione questions

"Brother and Sister. In charge of punishment, and currently teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts," I snort in hatred "I can't go back to classes ever since I won a duel against Alecto to stop using first years as examples in class. Otherwise she'll kill me on the spot"

We got to the end of the passageway and opened the door, revealing the Room of Requirement

"Look what we brought back for all of you!" Neville says, climbing down the ladder "hope it's not more of Aberforth's cooking" Seamus said from where he was sitting. When he turned around, his jaw dropped

"Blimey! Harry's back!"

Everyone started to gather around them. And for the first time in a long time the atmosphere around here felt happier, more joyful and hopeful
