Connor sits down at his desk opposite Hank, Faith sits down on his lap.
The Lieutenant shakes his head with a smile before his face turns back to being serious and grim.
"Fowler has the perfect idea for your problem. Perkins is setting everything up for it." He doesn't make it sound better for something, no, just the hard truth.
"He what? What's his, excuse me, their plan?"
"He'll explain. He hasn't briefed us about it yet. Just told me he and Perkins have an idea."
Connor wraps his arms around Faith's waist.
"It'll be okay." He whispers.
Fowler walks through the bullpen with Perkins, spotting Faith. The captain gestures her in the office.
Tense, she stands up and walks to the office, closing the door after she entered.
"We want you to go undercover." Perkins says.
"Hell no!" Faith steps back, trembling.
"It's the only way. We'll implant a microphone, that way we can hear you. It's one way. Someone will be present to listen to it every second you are there. There will be shifts taken as of who listens." Perkins professionally notifies Faith.
"Do you even know what he'll do? What he'll make me go through?"
"We're sorry about that inconvenience. You get paid considerately for this."
"I don't care for goddamn money, Perkins. I care for my life!" Faith is fuming.
"You start tonight." He says with a finality in his tone.
Faith storms out of the office, shattering the glass door in the process.
She doesn't care, she just runs in blind rage and panic.
To her surprise it is North stopping her.
"We were all looking for you." She says.
"I can't, I can't go back." Faith whispers, her voice sounds tight.
"Hey, take a breathe. Inhale, exhale, inhale... Exhale. That's right. Keep breathing."
Faith calms down slowly.
"You back?"
She nods.
"Connor told us what he knows. He told us about your undercover work and how you just lost it in the office."
"I don't want to be prisoned again, I am not a slave." Faith begs.
"You won't. They'll get you out before things get worse. It is not forever. It might only be for a few days. They know what they are doing. Fowler and Perkins even called us for our cooperation. All after you ran."
"People will know what I am."
"And is that such a bad thing?"
Faith doesn't answer, starts thinking.
"You are right. They will save me. These killings can end."
North nods and the two fierce females walk back to the station.
"Take a deep breath, everyone is inside. I told them I found you and I would bring you back." North warns before the both of them step inside.
