Dutch Van Der Linde. He was something else that was certain. It almost seemed there wasn't a woman alive he couldn't charm. Unfortunately some of that charm washed off on me because i found myself most days pining over him. I sat at the bar taking my third shot of whiskey. Dutch convinced me and a few others to go to the saloon and blow some steam off. I clenched my jaw in anger for the hundredth time tonight. Dutch was in the very back sitting in a small booth. A pretty girl was sitting next to him a giggling drunken mess. 'If she touches his shoulder one more time....' John snapped me out of my thoughts. "Hey you should take it easy on the drinks." I nodded stepping away from the bar. "Well hello there Mister." A woman stood in front of me batting her eyelashes. I arched a brow. Her clothing was too fancy for a place like this. "Miss." My words came out slightly slurred. "I'll be honest with you. My husband has ignored me for far too long. I decided to come here to find a real man. You seem to fit what I've been looking for." I stared at her for a moment before smiling. "Sorry Miss I don't do that sort of thing." She moved closer giving me a sweet smile. "Are you sure?" She trailed her fingers from my jaw down to my chest. "Yes." She pouted and sauntered off most likely looking for another man. I shook my head and exited the saloon getting some much needed fresh air. "I must say I'm surprised. She was quite pretty." I turned around leaning against the railing. "I thought you were charming a woman yourself?" Dutch shrugged. "Not really my type." I nodded. The alcohol must have taken hold because i couldn't stop myself from speaking my mind. "Am i your type?" Panic washed over me as Dutch looked at me with wide eyes. "I'm sorry!" I blurted out. "Your fine.....I've just never....had..that happen before." I felt like kicking my own ass. "Just forget i said anything." I muttered quickly rushing into the nearby alleyway. "Wait a minute." Dutch called following me. "Look relax. You just caught me off guard is all." I slowly forced my gaze up to Dutch. "Your not angry?" He shook his head. "Let's just say i try to keep an open mind about things. I've personally never tried it before. But..." He trailed off moving closer to me. "I think you could be my type." He winked making me let out a laugh. "How about we get a few drinks and see where the night takes us?" Dutch nodded leading me back inside the saloon.
