My eyes fluttered closed and before I knew it, I was kissing him back. It wasn't my first kiss, but it was the first kiss that I actually didn't hate. It was the first kissed where I wasn't forced to kiss back, but that's another story for another day.

After a few seconds he pulled back and smirked. I looked at the floor as I felt my face heat up. His finger lifted my chin up and made me look at him. He cocked his head to the side and changed his smirk to a smile. The first time I had ever seen him actually smile and not smirk.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know how else to get you to stop arguing." He apologized. I rolled my eyes, but smiled at him.

"A simple shut up would've worked, but I don't think I would've liked that way as much as I liked this way of shutting me up." I answered. He smirked again and grabbed my hip pulling me to his chest. I let out a squeak of surprise making him let out a low chuckle.

"So what you're saying is you wouldn't mind if I did that again?" He questioned. My face heated up again, but instead of looking at the ground I leaned forward closing the distance between our lips. He smirked against the kiss before pulling me further into his chest. I smiled, but pulled away when I heard someone coming to the door.

"Conner are you in here?" Cody interrogated knocking on the door.

"Yeah. Just making sure Erika is okay." He answered still breathless, but thankfully Cody's an idiot and didn't notice as he left.

"We should probably go downstairs." I commented.

"Or we could continue doing what we were doing." She suggested wiggling his eyebrows. I shook my head and opened the door making gestures to get him out of my room, but that wasn't working. Instead he stayed in place and smirked.

"If you leave I will give you another kiss." I whispered making sure nobody would be able to hear me since the door was open. He smiled and left. I closed the door behind me and missed his cheek before skipping down the stairs.

"Hey! You little liar!" He yelled from the top of the stairs. I rolled my eyes before looking back at him.

"I never said where I would kiss you!" I whisper yelled back before turning back around and walking into the dining room. I pulled the chair out and sat down, looking at the food on my plate.

"Good morning Erika." My mother greeted. I just smiled back, not really knowing what to say after the night before. It was the first time since I was was very little, that I had gotten lectured by them. I didn't realize that it would be so awkward the morning after.

"Eat you food and go get dressed." My father ordered not even bothering to look up from his newspaper.

"Actually can I just go get dressed? I didn't realize what time it was until just now." I asked. That made my father looked up with a glare on his face.

"Do you really expect us to let you skip a meal after what happened last night? You will say before you get dressed and that is final." He sternly ordered. I nodded and looked down before he could see the tears in my eyes. It hurt knowing that they couldn't trust me, even if it was my fault in the first place.

"Hey dad do you think I can go with some friends after school?" Jane questioned walking into the room.

"No you may not! You are grounded, which means no going out with anyone even your friends." He replied with an eye roll. Jane crosses her arms and began to pout.

"But we're just going to the mall! You don't want me to end up being a loser do you?" She whined. I rolled my eyes, but stuffed my face with food before I could actually say anything. However, Jane still noticed my eye roll and she glared at me.

"Actually maybe I do want you to be a loser. That would mean that you wouldn't be able to sneak out anymore, and maybe you'd be nicer." I almost bursted out laughing but instead picked up my plate and went into the kitchen before giggling. Usually my parents gave Jane everything just because she was their little princess, so it was nice knowing they weren't doing that. I went back upstairs and go dressed before packing everything into my backpack. I had almost forgotten about Veronica. Almost.

I went back downstairs and waited in the living room for everyone else to be done. A couple minutes later they were done and we all went out to the car and we were on our way to school.
