"Erika open up the door!"

"Seriously, Erika! This isn't funny!"

As I slowly gained consciousness, I heard continuous knocking on the door. I, however, couldn't find the energy to get up and open the door. It felt like all the energy was drained out of me.

"Erika open the freaking door!" The knocking soon turned into banging, and the door began to move. "Hurry up! Open the door!" I heard someone grunt as the banging continued.

"The door won't budge. There's something in front of it!" I slightly turned my head to look at the door better. I was pressed up against it, but I couldn't bring myself to move out of the way.

"Erika darling. Please open the door." I heard my mother begged. I opened my mouth as if to say something, but nothing came out.

"What's going on?" A new voice interrupted.

"She's not answering. We can't even hear her moving around."

"Maybe she snuck out?" They questioned.

"Nope. The window was still closed and was untouched. Besides, she doesn't know how to sneak out of that room." Jane answered.

"Move over." Suddenly, the handle started moving and there was a click. They tried to push the door open, but they couldn't as I was still in the way.

"Erika?" Mother asked through the crack they had made when they opened the door. I opened my mouth once again, but nothing came out.

"I have an idea." I heard footsteps walk down the stairs and out the door.

"Erika please come out." Jane pleaded. All of a sudden, there was a noise behind me. I slowly turned my head to see Conner climbing through the window.

"Erika!" He yelled. He ran to me and picked me up.

"What's happening?" Conner opened the door letting my family come into the room. My eyes were open, but I still couldn't talk or move. I could barely keep my eyes open.

"What happened?" Cody asked dropping next to me. He took me from Conner to look over me. "Erika, can you say something?" I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. My eyes were slowly closing and everyone started to get blurrier and blurrier.

"Call an ambulance!" Conner yelled. I couldn't see anything else, as everything went black.

I woke up in what felt like a few hours later. There was beeping to my right and when I looked over, I saw a heart monitor.

"Erika!" Jane yelled. She ran over to me and enclosed me in a tight hug. "Thank god you're okay! Everyone was so worried about you!" She yelled, still not letting go.

"W-water." I managed to croak out. She finally let go of me and handed me a cup of water with a straw. Once I drank all the water so hugged me again.

"Everyone went down to get breakfast but I couldn't leave you. Actually, Conner couldn't leave you either. He's in the hall right now. Do you want me to get him? He said he would've come in with me, but he didn't want to intrude." She rambled out. I only nodded as I didn't want to hear my voice again. She opened the door and said something before she moved out of the way, allowing Conner to rush into the room.

"Thank god you're okay." He breathed out. I smiled at him, before looking behind him. Jane has left the room, closing the door behind her.

"Why am I here?" I questioned.

"That's what we were hoping you would tell us." He replied. I furrowed my eyebrows, as everything came back to me.

"I think I had a panic attack," I whispered trying to remember the details.

"You think you had a panic attack?" He questioned rolling his eyes. I nodded as I closed my eyes. I was starting to feel tired. "I guess we can talk tomorrow. Sleep good." The last thing I remember before falling asleep was his warm lips kissing my forehead.
