A couple days later, I was finally allowed to leave. However, I wasn't allowed to do any sports and I still had to wait a few days before going back to school. Jane was still ignoring me, but that hadn't bothered me as I was still mad at her for not seeing me when I was in the hospital.

Conner had been by my side the whole time and if someone asked him about it, he would just say that he heard some things at school about the fact that Jonathon wanted to finish off what he started. I knew it was a lie. I had looked on social media to see that Jonathon was in England far away from us.

Cody hadn't left me alone since the first day at the hospital. It felt nice knowing that at least one of my siblings was still nice to me. I knew that it wouldn't last though, as he would remember that we had fought before the event. Until then though, I was soaking up the attention from him.

My father had been spending more time at work saying that he needed to pay the hospital bill. It made me feel guilty because I knew that it was my fault that he had to work extra because I wasn't liked at school.

My mother on the other hand, had been at work less. She was constantly making me food or putting on whatever I wanted to watch. That had made Jane really mad, but my mother said that she was still grounded so she didn't have a choice.

All in all, I wasn't that mad about what happened. Sure I was still in a whole lot of pain, but I didn't have to go to school for a while, and I was the center of attention which didn't ever happen. And it felt nice knowing that a person that wasn't part of my family was still by my side.

"Dinners ready!" My mother yelled from downstairs. Conner immediately opened the door and Cody, who knew the drill, grabbed my arm and helped into the dining room. They had been doing it ever since I was released. It was starting to get really annoying. They sat me down in my seat, before sitting on both sides of me.

"Mom, do I have to eat this?" Jane whined picking at the chicken on her plate. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes, and instead picked up a fork full of mashed potatoes.

"Jane stop complaining! If you don't like you can cook dinner tomorrow!" My mother yelled slamming her fork down making Jane jump. Any person could see that Jane wasn't used to being treated like this, and she didn't like it very much.

"When's dad going to be back?" Cody questioned trying to get the conversation going.

"I don't know. He's having to work a lot more, which means that he's going to be later than normal." She answered. I put my fork down before looking around the room. Everyone, except Jane, was still trying to catch back up on sleep from the first couple of nights. It was obvious that they hadn't slept for more than a couple hours each night.

"I'm going to my room." I commented, getting up before anyone could say anything. I saw Conner start to get up before Jane asked him a question making him sit back down. I breathed a sigh of relief before rushing up the stairs into my room.

An hour later, there was a knock on the door. I looked at it but didn't say anything. There was another knock before the doorknob twisted and the door opened. In the doorway stood Conner with worry in his yes.

"Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded. "Then why didn't you open the door when I knocked?" I shrugged and watched as he took steps towards me. "What was that about at dinner?' He questioned stopping in front of me.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I whispered. He rolled his eyes before turning around.

"Do you know how worried I was when I walked into that bathroom to see what had happened to you? I was scared out of my mind! I thought that you were dead!" His voice broke at the end and as he turned around once again I saw that he was crying.

"Why do you care so much?" I asked. He took a deep breath before walking towards me.

"Can't you see? I like you!" he answered before taking the few steps that were in between us and pressing his lips on mine.
