Mario, Luigi and Lightning made it safely to the Pikachu Village. The brothers looked around in awe when they saw that many Pichus, Pikachus and a few Raichus were living peacefully in the land.
They walked over to Thunder, a group of Pikachu, Yveltal and his minions. "Lightning you're back. Oh I don't think I asked you who you're new Eevee friends are." Thunder said.
"I'm Mario." Mario introduced.
"A-And I'm his little brother, Luigi. W-we're not originally from your world. We live in a place called the Mushroom Kingdom. We're not actually Eevees there, but humans." Luigi responded.
Thunder's cheerful attitude became an angry one and Lightning's turned into a looks of worry. "Uh oh..." she mumbled.
"HUMANS!!! YOU'RE HUMANS!!! STAY AWAY FROM US!!! STAY AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!!!" He was about to attack them with Thunder.
"Dad stop!!!" Lightning shouted, running in front of the brothers to protect them.
"Lightning? What are you doing, protecting the humans. Their kind took my mate!! They took your mother!"
"Dad, please!! These humans saved us. They're not like the others. They saved the Pokémon World, and I owe them my gratitude." Lightning said.
Thunder looked at her daughter as if she was speaking a different language. "What do you mean? You trust these humans?"
"Yes." Lightning replied.
"Have you lost your mind?!" Thunder shouted.
"No. These humans are good. Please you have to trust them." Lightning told her father.
"Trust them?"
"Please, you have to. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't be able to save you." Lightning answered.
"Fine... I suppose you're right. Thanks for your help, I guess..." Thunder replied, slowly walking towards them and shaking paws with them. Thunder turned to his comrades. "Meet Mario and Luigi..."
Lightning whispered something in her father's ear.
"...The Super Mario Eevee Bros." He finished. "The heroes of the Pokémon World."
The crowd went wild.

"Come on guys. Let's celebrate!" Lightning said. She took their paws and they started talking to the other villagers and eat together.
When it was almost sundown. The brothers thought it was time to go.
"Lightning, I think it's time we get back home. The Princess seems to want to go home and we have to take care of Bowser and his minions as well." Mario said.
"Oh, okay. Wait... Can I talk to Luigi alone for a minute?"
Mario sighed. "Okay fine." He smiled.
Lightning took Luigi's paw and they walked to a pond right outside of the village.
"What do you want to talk about, Lightning?" Luigi asked.
"I-I just wanted to talk to you for a bit. I know we've only known each other for a few days now but I think-I think I have a crush on you."
Luigi smiled widely. "I-I was thinking the same thing but I don't think your father would like that too much."
"I know... But I don't care. You helped me out. You helped me save my family and friends. I don't care if you're really human... You did all that for me." Lightning pulled him into a hug.
"Thanks Lightning." Luigi told her, crying tears of joy.
Unbeknownst to them, they were being watched by Thunder who was hiding behind a bush. He smiled. "My daughter has found a mate... It's a human... But she found a mate..." he whispered to himself.
Luigi pulled away. "I'm sorry, but I think it's time I go. Mario's waiting for me. I really hope we meet again soon though. I wish you could come with me."
"I can't. I have to help my father with the village and I have an important job as a Starter Squad member to catch criminals. I hope we get to see each other again soon. That would be nice." Lightning told him.
"Yeah, it would. I hope to see you soon, Lightning. Thanks for everything." Luigi gave her one last hug before he walked back to his brother.
"Are we ready to go?" Mario asked.
"Yeah, I think so." He looked back at Lightning. "Ciao mio amico." He whispered. (Translation: Goodbye, my friend)
"Bye guys." She replied, sullenly. "Till we meet again.
Klefki used a key shaped like Mario's hat and the portal opened. The brothers forced Bowser and his minions in before Mario jumped in with Peach and Yoshi. Luigi looked back at Lightning again before he went off into the portal too.
Once they were all through, Klefki closed the portal and wrapped herself around Lightning's neck to sleep.
Lightning sighed before she made a small smile.
*** Meanwhile, in the Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser stood and saw the brothers, Peach and Yoshi come through the portal before it closed.
"This isn't over, scrubs. I will return to kidnap Peach again." He bellowed.
"Of course you will, but you'll never succeed." Mario said, rolling his eyes.
Bowser pressed a button on a remote he had with him. His Koopa airship came to him. He went inside with Bowser Jr. and his minions.
"See you next week!" He bellowed before flying off.
"Come on Luigi. Let's bring Peach back home." Mario replied.
"Yoshi!" Yoshi cried happily.
"There's no place like home." Luigi sighed as he followed Mario, Peach and Yoshi.
