The atmosphere in my house grew more tense. This meant more people around, and I saw less of Adda Ummi because she was always with Hajiya Mairo, who didn't let her out of her sight for a minute. It was rather funny, with Ya Adeel always FaceTiming and trying to get her to sneak away to the little gazebo. Meanwhile, her friends were busy planning their bachelorette party.
Zara and Munira had come back to our house for Adda Ummi's wedding, and we were always up to some kind of mischief.
The first event was the bachelorette party, an all-girls event where neither the groom, his friends, nor the parents were allowed. The younger girls dressed in matching maroon two-piece gowns, and our makeup was expertly done by Munira, who was a professional makeup artist.

She finished my makeup, and for some reason, everyone was staring at me. I jokingly told them not to stare , but they took it as their cue to start taking photos, which I, being a photo enthusiast, happily posed for.

After getting ready, we went to check on the bride , I saw my sister looking stunning.
