(Takeyama Kyoshu POV)
That trip on the train to U.A was awful, I was squished against Kou-chan & people were being awfully "friendly" with us because they recognized us from the Sports Festival. I sure do hope that it dies down, I shook my head & laugh lightly when he got distracted & told me to go ahead, to which I do, with an umbrella in my hand, I begin walking to school when I notice a familiar green headed idiot
"Good morning Izu-chan!" I call out to him as I carefully sprint over to him, he turned around & smiled when he saw me
"Takeyama-san! Good morning!" I let out a tired sigh as I start walking beside him
"How's your morning been? Mine was stressful, a lot of people recognized me from the sports festival then wouldn't leave me alone!" he let out a sigh as well
"I know what you mean." we continued to talk but suddenly there was incoming footsteps behind us
"Good morning Midoriya-kun & Kyoshu-kun!"
"O-Oh, good morning Iida-kun!" Midoriya called as he ran pass us
"Why on earth are you two walking so slowly?! School is about to start!"
"No offence Ten-chan, but we got at least 5 minutes left." I said to him, as we entered the school building dried off my umbrella & when it was I waited for the other two until I remembered about something between Ten-chan & his brother Tensei
Tensei was up against the hero killer & what the news had said was that he was severely injured & won't be able to be a pro hero anymore, I felt pity towards him. I look back at Ten-chan & see that look in his eye, I know that look... its the exact same look I had when, Kuyo--
"Aren't you coming, Takeyama-san?" I look up & notice the two walking towards class
"Oh, sorry!" I follow behind the two
We made it to class just in time & the other classmates were saying how people came up to them & congratulated them on how they fought in the Sports Festival, I laughed silently when Hanta-chan said that children told him to "do his best", if I remember correctly, that was what the crowd was cheering when he was up against Shouto
"Its alright Hanta-chan, it'll die down... eventually."
"AHHH! I can't wait that long!" Eijirou-chan, Mina-chan & Kyouka-chan laughed at his antics, it wasn't long before Aizawa-sensei walked in & I sighed in relief when I saw that the bandages were no longer all over his body
"It's time to formulate your code names. Your hero names." Aizawa-sensei stated, the entire class including me erupted into cheers as we all went crazy cheering at the information
"Oh my God yes!! Now this is making my chest swell!!" someone exclaims, Aizawa-sensei clears his throat to get the attention of everyone & for us to shut up
"This is related to the Draft Nominations by pros I mentioned the other day. The nominations will truly start mattering only after you've gained some experience & your adaptable fighting ability is judged during your sophomore & senior years. In other words, the nominations you're getting this year are more akin to expressions of 'interest' in your future potential. & it's not rare that that interest dries up by graduation. Or is simply unilaterally dropped." he explained
"Damn. Adults playing with our emotions." the grape head Mineta muttered
"So I guess the nominations we received are like personal hurdles, then!" Tooru exclaims
"Yes. Now, the tally of nominations is as follows." the designated cases shows up on the board, everyone's eyes widen when they saw who got the most offers
