part 37 | training camp

(Third Person POV)

"You know, Shou-chan."

"Mm?"

"I appreciate you coming over to my house & all, it really calms me... but can you like, not show up at 5 in the morning please? Its freaky & weird."

& just like she said, at 5-6 in the morning, Todoroki would show up just so he could see she was doing okay. Her parents also thought it was weird but since it preoccupied her mind rather than having to think of Mesai, it was fine... at least he wasn't watching her in her sleep, right?! She let out a yawn as she slowly sat up & stretched her arms, Todoroki chuckled softly as he saw how messy her hair was

"Nice bed hair." she raised a brow & looked at her reflection before laughing as well

"Why thank you, now get out. I'm going for a shower." he nods

"Okay."

Ever since that day, Todoroki has been by her side like he was handcuffed to her & he couldn't get free, Kyoshu always enjoyed his company but then there'd be the time he becomes a little overbearing, but she puts up with it with a smile & laugh. Half an hour passes & she was out of the shower, wearing her uniform & was drying her hair when she suddenly remembered that that was the day they were going on the training camp

She walks downstairs & sees that her parents had made breakfast, Kyoshu flinched a bit when she saw four plates on the table, sweat started to build up as she slowly started to hyperventilate but was stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder, she shakily looks over & saw it was her mother

"Its alright, Kyo-chan... its alright." she slowly nods her head "It even shocked your father & I when we saw them." Hakai then walks by & scratches his neck

"Yet its not even the first time it happened."

"It still surprises us..."

Kyoshu took a seat across from Todoroki while her parents sat down on either side of them, the three loved Todoroki's company but he equally loved spending his time with them. He noticed how happy Kyoshu was with her parents & he wondered if he could've ever had the same type of love if his father wasn't a pro & actually cared for him & his siblings

'I've met her parents... maybe I should introduce her to mother & maybe even Natsuo...' he sighs '& you too, T--'

"Shou-chan!"

"Huh hmm?" he looks up & sees Kyoshu giving him a concerned look

"You alright? You were just staring at your food for awhile." she takes a breath "At least you weren't staring at me this time..." she muttered, he gives her a look & she laughs "I'm the one who should be looking at you like that! All you did was fucking stare at me, you weirdo!"

"Language!"

"But its true!" now Kyoshu & Todoroki were making their way to the train station along with Kouda, who really enjoyed the company of Todoroki when he wasn't all starey & glarey at everyone & everything he sets his eyes on "So what do you think we're doing at the training camp? Oh! I heard we're doing a test of courage! I'm so excited!" she then watches as he waves his hands in a freaked manner

"Kyoshu-san! You know I don't do well with scary things!" he signed to her, she giggles

"Yeah I know, so if we're in groups, hopefully we're paired together!"

"Hopefully." Todoroki watched the conversation go on between the two & was impressed that she could understand sign language, she noticed & smiles
