part 43 | operation; saving bakugou & takeyama

(Takeyama Kyoshu POV)

I'm pretty sure I bit right through my belt as soon as I was done putting on the ointment that was supposedly going to soothe the burns going from the side of my torso up to my neck & just stopping at my jawline, even my left arm was literally toasted, it kinda worked but applying it hurt like a bitch. Trying to get back onto my feet was also a challenge, my left leg, the one Toga stabbed, still hurt badly whenever I moved it so I had to plant my right leg on the ground then push myself up

Before doing this though, I had literally dragged myself over to where I hid my phone, I had even left a trail of blood by doing so. Through the tears I heard on the other side that the others were literally crying out for me if I was alright, I didn't know how to respond nor did I have enough time when my phone had died. I cursed to myself when that happened & slammed my head harshly on the ground the impact had actually cut my forehead

I was currently leaning against the wall with my left arm laying limp & putting all of my weight on my right leg to ease the pain for my left. What the hell did my left side do to you, eh?! I wish I knew what the time was, I wish I knew what time of day it was! Nah, I'm aching to know how long I've been trapped & tortured in this god for saken room! I'm just blessed that Dabi didn't put those restraints back on me, I don't know if he either forgot, wasn't bothered or... he did it on purpose, whatever reason it is, I have a chance to escape

But then what?

What can I do?

I still don't exactly know how many villains there are. I've only met four of them, five if I count the voice I heard & seven if I count the assholes that brought me here in the first place. I'm basically in a maze, I don't know where I am & I sure as hell don't know where Katsuki is, but I just have to make do with what I do know. Katsuki's is either on the same floor as me or above, I know the quirks of six people here, all of them ranging from dangerous to death

I don't even have a plan to get out of this fucking room

Maybe I should jump the next person that comes in?

But would it work?

I'm basically down one leg & one arm, I can't do shit on my own in the condition I'm currently in... though, I kinda do have one plan, but it involves using two hands. Fuck it, if it means I can get the fuck out of here to save myself & Katsuki, then that's a fucking risk I'm willing to take

(Third Person POV)

"The fact that the public is blaming U.A for everything that's happened to the students, its kind of ridiculous. Its not like they could've done anything." Reiner said as he walked beside Annie, who in response rolled her eyes

"Its not like it matters. We did our job, beating the ever loving crap out of Takeyama however is just a bonus. Though, we kind of did loose the trust of everyone at Eren's agency." Reiner shook his head

"Not me. Kyoshu didn't know it was me until we captured her & you basically revealed your identity to all those U.A students & two of their teachers. If anyone is in trouble, it's you. I'm in the clear." she scoffed "Don't you scoff. Maybe if you did a better job at not looking so damn suspicious, then everything would've worked out in the end for the both of us."

"..." he sighs at her silence "Whatever." he muttered, they were in front of the door that had Kyoshu & opened it, only to find that she was nowhere to be seen as the restraints on the ground, Annie was the first to enter as she looked around in utter shock when she couldn't see her

"Where'd she go?! Where is she?!" Reiner had finally walked into the room, he jumped when the door suddenly closed & the room was pitch black again but you could see the glowing of one magenta eye beside where the door was
