02 : first meeting

❅ St. Athena, Hamgye

The trees at Hamgye somehow looked different that it was usually at Daegu. Hamgye wasn't a hinterland like Daegu nor it was a busy city like Seoul. It had a mixture of both which really fit one another. All through the ride, he didn't have a shut-eye since his eyes kept wandering towards the nature that was unfolding outside.

His mind then keeps going back to his grandmother's words. "Don't get involved in Corona." 5 simple words and usually you'll obey it but why does some part of him is so curious about Corona and Marionettes. He wanted to ask Bogum who's driving ahead but he kept his tongue to himself. Finding the answer himself has much pleasure than being told.

After Bogum left him at the dorm, he finally acknowledged how his life is going to change drastically especially when he's surrounded by rich people. Now all he needs to do is going to the board of directors rooms. Walking through the campus wasn't easy when there were eyes following him. He was looking at the maps when he felt a tap on his shoulders. He turned and saw a lady who had long silky black hair and an average height man, whom both had a smile on their faces.

"Hi, I'm Kim Jisoo and this is Jung Hoseok. Are you lost ?" Taehyung simply nodded. "I'm Kim Taehyung." Upon hearing his name Hoseok had shock evident on his face. "You're the lucky kid." He chuckled and patted his shoulders. "Come on, we'll show you St.Athena." Hoseok shares a nod with Jisoo before leading him inside a building.

Their tour ended successfully and Taehyung was glad that he met them, but all through the tour he can't help but notice some symbols adorning specifically one hall that was called 'Phoenix Hall.' He thought they both seemed nice and decided to ask them. When he opened his mouth to talk suddenly a man with broad shoulders approached them.

"Jisoo, come on. We have a business party tonight. See you, Hoseok." The man waited while Jisoo grabbed all of her stuff. "I'll see you around, Taehyung." She waved and share a nod at Hoseok. "You wanted to ask something before, what was it Taehyung ?" Hoseok faced him, seriousness evident on his face.

"I—I was wondering why there so many symbols around and didn't knew which was the college's." Hoseok face stiffens before he bursts out laughing. "That," He pointed to all the flags with the symbol. "I would tell you kid, but knowing it yourself is much better. Anyway, I have to go too." Hoseok checked the caller id on his phone before answering. "Relax, Yoongs. I'm on my way."

"I swear, stop drinking Kook." Jimin patted his shoulders when he reached for another glass. "Why not? Jennie didn't waste her time sliding her cards for all this delicious drink to not drink." Jungkook pouted. "We need to be sober for a reason." The older one hissed. "Found anything unusual ?" Yoongi's voiced was clear from the specially made earring that allowed them to communicate with one another.

"Holy yes, Seulgi is here." Jimin left Jungkook's side and went towards the blonde. "What's a lost sheep like you doing here ?" He greeted her and pulled her towards his chest, led them to the dance floor. "I'm here to accompany my Corona, Irene but she's out there somewhere with Jennie," Jimin smirked.

He went closer to her ears before whispering, "You know there will be some action tonight ?"

"Fuck Jimin! I'm not hearing this." Yoongi proceeded and turn off Jimin's microphones. "Disgusting." Jisoo who was there in the car with him stifle a laugh. "That's just Jimin."

"You should mingle around Jk, maybe find some potential date so you won't bother me." Jin suddenly approached Jungkook who was still at the snack bar. "I'm good here. You just say that because you want time alone with J—." His words were left unfinished when Jin pinched his side.

Jungkook pouted and decided to see the desert station. He was reaching for a mini cupcake when suddenly a hand touch his. "Hey! I saw it first." The red-haired told him off. He pouted and grab it faster by force and ate it. "Whoops! I grab it first." He snickered and touch her forehead harshly. The red-haired storm and went towards a blonde girl with bangs. Her mouth was pouting the whole time and Jungkook finds it cute.

Jennie was socialising while her eyes were sharp, watching every movement of the guest. "It's him." She whispered but loudly enough for all of her group to hear it. "They're wearing a beret. I'm going to approach him."

"I'll square the perimeters," Namjoon told them and he walked towards the bar waiting for the next move. Just as Jennie was walking closer towards their target, he fastened his pace and walked out of the ballroom. "He's running away, he knew we were here," Jin told them.
"I have to go, Seul." Jimin kissed her cheek and ran out of the back door with Jungkook, Namjoon and Jin followed suit.

All of them were chasing the man and the man shoot a bullet towards Jennie, luckily missed her. "Fuck them. I didn't bring a gun." She hissed and continued chasing him despite wearing a dress. "Jen, there are 6 people coming for you. Watch out." Yoongi warned her and she saw all the man wearing a mask which managed to punch the man.

"We're coming !" Namjoon told her and went to her side. "Hands with hands baby," Jungkook told them and proceeded to throw punches at them, letting Jennie passed by. Jennie continued her chase not letting the scapegoat of the gang that's been hunting them out of her side.

When she cornered him, she squared up to him and managed to pass him out but she was shot at the side. "Ah fuck !" She pressed her hands on it to stop the blood from gushing out. Her face winced in pain but stop when she heard footsteps.

Hoseok soon caught up with her and saw that she succeeded. "Are you hurt ?" Jennie just shook her head. "I'm tired. The dorm is near, I'll sleep there. Settle it." She said before forcing herself to walk back to the dorm. Hoseok nodded and called Yoongi to pick them up.

❅ St.Athena Dorms, Hamgye

Taehyung was walking around the park when he saw a girl passed out at the park. He unconsciously ran to her side and saw that her sides were bleeding. "Ah fuck!" She hissed when he touched her side. "Are you okay ?" He asked stupidly. "Yeah, despite that I'm losing blood and barely can walk, yeah I'm having a blast." She let out a pained chuckled.

"I will aid you. Hold on." Taehyung told her and picked her up carefully and they went towards his dorm. He set her carefully on the couch and took out a first aid kit. "I didn't think this through. You're wearing a dress."

"Relax. I'm wearing something underneath. Just undressed me. Plus it will be your lucky day." She smirked despite the pain. Taehyung nodded and just ignored his flushed self and focused on getting her taken care of. "What the fuck? You were shot!" He told her. "Yeah, bullets do that."

"Thankfully it just scraped your skin." He told her again and saw that she was getting tired and had closed her eyes. After medical care, she had fallen asleep. She was only in her bra and short pants and Taehyung felt sorry and gave her his sweater and decided to go to sleep since class are starting tomorrow.

When he woke up, the girl was missing but breakfast was cooked and a post-it note.

"Did she just called me a puppy? I don't look like one right ?" He asked himself but proceeded to eat the waffles that she cooked and he couldn't believe how delicious it tasted.
