CHAPTER-36

 CLOSE CALL

"Sir I can see her car..."

"OK now alert all the cars...they will be passing the area soon...start creating jam..." said Aman and messaged Arnav... "All done"

He messaged back... "The power station"

"Handled...they are with us..." 

Soon Arnav can see Khushi's car...and also the other four cars...as planned the jam created a good distance between Khushi's and their cars...they can't come out as his plotted cars blocked them from all sides and Akash's car is just beside Khushi's...he called Khushi...

"Arnavji..."

"Khushi...be calm...you are being followed..."

"What..."

"Relax...I am here with you....I can see you...don't panic...listen to me carefully...Akash's car is at your right...for just 2 minutes there will be a power cut...within that you will move to Akash's car...I am in the car...just trust me....ask Mohan to drive normally..." 

 As planned everything went well...the power was back and soon the traffic jam was dissolved and Akash's car went away with Khushi in other direction...

"Arnavji..."

"Tum thik ho?" (Are you fine?)

Khushi clutched his free hand...their hearts beating fast...

"Sir they are following you..." came Rahim's voice...

"How is that possible...Dammit...the cells...they are tracking..." he threw both their cells...he can see the cars following him...he was afraid...not for himself but for Khushi and Arush...but he have to save them...he was ASR not only in name...a new plan formed in his sharp brain...This is the place where he had spent half of his life...each road and corner is known to him...he drove fast towards the outskirts of Lucknow...their he can see barricades...he knew about the political riots running there at present...he can see the cars at good distance...this was the right chance...he stopped the car and took Arush in his arms and holding Khushi's hands ran towards the jungle....

"Arnavji...who are they?"

"I don't know Khushi...don't panic...I will never let anything happen to you both"

He knew they will soon follow them...he have to go as far as he can...he was absolutely right...the men were all over the jungle searching them... it was getting dark now...Arush was very uncomfortable by all the jerking he was feeling due to his papa's run... he started sobbing but they can't let him cry...they came very far running...he can see some old huts...he hurriedly took them there....the huts were vacant...they went in one of them and locked the old door...

"Khushi feed him fast...make him sleep...he must not cry..." Arnav placed Arush on her lap and look forward guarding them...

Khushi hurriedly feed him and his sob resided...after sometime Arnav can hear faint sobs...he looked back to see Khushi crying...he took her in his arms... "Arnavji...our Arush..."

"Ssshhh...don't cry we will save him...we all will go back home...trust me I will protect you both...don't cry...let Arush sleep...you lay here for some time...we will leave soon..."

"Where will we go?"

"Khushi they will come soon...we will move to our secret place...we are close...we have to reach there before morning..."

After sometime they again started moving...Arush in Arnav' arms and his free hand clutched by Khushi...they were now moving parallel to the main road...there was not a single vehicle on the road due to the riot...after running sometime they saw two men coming towards the jungle with guns....Arnav hurriedly hid them behind a tree, he cocooned Khushi and Arush more into himself...suddenly his vision stopped at the bike that the men left behind...he saw the men were busy with phone...this is the chance...

"Khushi...they left the bike..." he gave Arush to Khushi and was moving towards them...

"Where are you going?"

"Khushi this is our only chance...you can see me from here...relax..."

Arnav went towards the men carefully...both facing their backs....Arnav silently went towards a man and knocked him off...before the other man reacts he was too on the ground losing his senses...Arnav hurriedly took the keys and ran towards Khushi...

"Khushi...come..."

"Arnavji..." moving her free hand all over his face, hands, chest...trying to find any trace of wounds... "You are fine na?"

"Hmm...now come fast..."

They ran towards the bike and rode off... Due to the riot, the place was vacant...Arnav drove towards their place through a shortcut and within 30 minutes they reached...it was still dark outside... he placed Arush on the bed...he was wide awake now...

"Khushi I will be back soon...let me check the security system..."

Their secret place was well maintained as Arnav arranged a caretaker...he was not present now as he took off for some days...Arnav placed the bike inside his garage and locked it...he then locked the main doors with passwords...Though the house was only one storied but Arnav renovated it and updated the security systems...He looked at his mother's garden...

"Maa...I saved them Maa..." he left a sigh...

He came back and saw Arush was all fresh lying on the bed secured by pillows playing with a teddy...talking in his alien language...he smiled...

"Arush my baby talkie talkie...." Said Arnav in baby voice kissing all over his face and stomach...Arush giggled and started to throw his hands and legs more energetically....

"Khushi"

"Arnavji...food is ready...come have it"

"Khushi you are tired...why are you doing all these..."

"Arnavji...it's not much just some sandwiches...have fast...you are starving from morning..."

"ok" they took their food and Arnav left to washroom... he came back and saw the rooms light were dim...Khushi feeding Arush and making him sleep...Arnav slowly lied and held Khushi tightly...her back now attached to his chest...

"Khushi..."called Arnav nuzzling her neck and moving his hands on her waist...

"Hmm"

"You are fine right?" now placing soft kisses on her shoulders...

"I am fine...nothing can happen when you are with us..." came her voice as whisper...his ministrations affecting her...he started kissing and biting her...rubbing himself...

"Ahh...Wait...let him sleep..." shushed Khushi...

"Hmm" he slowed his works...

After Arush slept...Arnav hovered over her and started kissing her madly...he took off her saree and start kissing all over her....She knew he was scared...

"I was on the verge of losing you both...I was scared Khushi...what if...anything happened you both...it was a close call...." Tears rolling down his eyes...

"Arnavji...we are fine...I know you will never let anything happen to us..." she thought to divert him so took his trembling lips...after a passionate kiss...they broke due to lack of oxygen...

"Khushi sleep...you are tired..."

"Arnavji..." said Khushi cupping his face "I know you need me...I can never be tired when you need me..." Arnav kissed her palms and soon they were lost in their passionate love making...oblivious to the outer world....After hours and hours of love making feeling safe and sound in each other's arms both slept peacefully...
