Chapter 3

Minako sweated profusely. She was back at Gekkoukan. It was March, 2010.

No one looked at her. No one remembered her.

What was the promise they all made?

Was everything they shared a lie?

Nobody remembered what happened a few months ago. It was long forgotten.

It hurt.

It hurt so fucking much.

Why doesn't this pain ever end?

Why was her heart still beating?

She wanted to die.

Damn it all, she really, really wanted to die now.

If dying meant even someone would remember her, it would be worth it.

Darkness was all around her.

Maybe she should've killed Ryoji while she still had the chance.

It didn't even matter in the end.

She didn't want to hold on anymore.

Why won't her heart just break now?

Oh, look.

It was finally Graduation Day.

Minako was on the rooftop, Aigis by her side.

Minako's head lay on Aigis' lap.

It was cold.

She felt really sleepy.

Minako talked with Aigis a bit before hearing her friends distance voices call out to her.

A smile came on her face.

They remembered.

Minako wanted to get up, but she was too tired.

Aigis put her hand on Minako's own and told her to rest up a bit.

"Don't worry. I'll always protect you." Was what Aigis said to Minako, sending shills down her spine as darkness engulfed her.

She was now sealing Nyx.

She never got to see anyone.

She wanted to see her friends.

Even if it was just for a second.

Minako gasped loudly as she opened her eyes.

Minako sat up, breathing heavily from the dream she had just had. She panted and put a hand on her chest, trying to calm her breathing.

She looked around and found herself in Tatsumi Hospital.

She was also clad in a hospital robe.

Minako rubbed her eyes and sighed.

Because of her little act of summoning, everyone knew that she had the potential.

There was no doubt SEES was going to make Minako and Makoto join them.

She didn't want to think much about it. It was late at night.

Minako looked at the wall clock and read the time.

1:00.

It was one in the morning.
