Ever-changing

The ever changing sky of purple pinks
Framed the lit city buildings to every peak
My heart was strung towards its beauty
The lights in the sky charged the earth
And illuminated the soft grounds
The trees that talked in the winds
Shone and glistened swayed by the air
Tickling my hair, sending cold chills
Lifting my hood and suddenly,
The dark showed itself
The bright hung moon
Contrasted the city perfectly
Truly making the building beam with
Beauty
The stars pretty dots of light
Like street lights from afar
I gazed through the city, looking for someone
Who's form resembles your curves
Kicking the dirt off my body and wandering
Through the large malls and restaurants
When I found someone with the right dip
Hands that fit like a glove
And lips that stung with electricity
Pulled hair and lustful eyes
Body like a snake and risky venom
Wrapping them in my love embrace
So short-lived,

• The illusions faded •
