God give me more time so I can say my goodbyes
Because everyone knows I've handled it terribly
I wait for the doom that would happen tonight
If it were to happen so suddenly, would I cry?
Would I break down, with tears streaming down forthright
Would the trauma crawl back and steal my lungs
Give me more time to say my goodbyes
Cause only you know that I want it more
I'm desperately trying to grab these nonexistent hands
Of mercy
Please let me say my goodbyes
I just want more time with him before he goes
Give me the clarity of my eyes to see through the tears
No matter how many years go by, will I recover?
Save me the torture of waiting and tell me straight on
Do I have time?
