Never in my wildest dreams
Did I think I would fall again
The same familiar cliff with warm arms
At the bottom
I didn't even notice I fell till the warmth
Seeped in and made my mask fall
I didn't think I would fall for him
The same cheery jokes that made me
Laugh till tears came to my eyes
The laugh that would always make me feel
Nice inside
The strong arms, that weren't muscular
But had security
I didn't know if I could trust my feelings
Like I did back then
But I trusted the glimmer in his eyes
When he looked at me, like I was his worldAnd he was mine.
