The sun after the storm
It's real, the glimmering promise of tomorrow
It's true, the faint dark of yesterday is haunting
But my ever positive attitude shields my back
And allows me to face the morning
I am different now
I have evolved to cope with such things
And if I can make it this far myself
Then I can make it further with some help
I am stronger now, my dreams will manifest
You are a witness today
To see, in a year from
Now
I will be better, stronger, harder
I will be graduating my school year with a smile
I will look at my friends with awe
And congratulate everyone on their success
