A deeper meaning

I let my fingertips roll down the crispy page
My eyed struggling to find the words on the page
Ink splattered in dots and patterns
I lifted my eyes to the dark hollow of the wood
The pine filled my nostrils, surrounded
Letting the howling wind brush and blow
The perfect hideout of this childhood treehouse
The whimpering sun barely cracked through
the dark puffy clouds that stormed the sky angrily
Threatening to rain on everything below
The chaotic weather was different
To the small inside tree of my world
As if it was the reality of the world against me
As it cracked further in, the wind got stronger,
The pages got blurrier, I could no longer breathe in
The sky crackled and fizzled with rain, lightning struck
Closer and closer, rumbling deeper and deeper
I felt the rain tickle my exposed skin
And wind press on my clothes
I felt the pressure of gravity keep me posted down
I couldn't move from where I sat
I glanced outside to see a mixture of gradient whites
And a deep ocean blue
My hair frayed about, wildly dancing in the wind
I felt the biting of the wind and rain
Raise goosebumps on my arms
The darker the clouds, the deeper the sky
The harder it was to breath
And with every rumble it struck my house down
Leaving more holes to full
Desperately trying to fill the holes but
Eventually I got tired, the rain soaked my clothes
I lay on the wooden floors that barely held me up
And if that wasn't enough
No one came to my aid
Like I was an invisible sickness to be forgotten
