I sit and watch
Your words blow right
through me
Carrying a static sound
That I ignored
I can't help but feel
The need to tell you
But my words stay
At the tip of my tongue
Like a poisonous bite
I was frozen, burning
Underneath your eyes
I can tell you
But the unbothered
Expression I kept
Made me stop
