(Autumns POV)

The baby project was seriously annoying me. No, i didn't get assigned the project because I didn't choose life as a class this symester, but Daniel did. The project it's self isn't a problem for me, but his partner, Destiny, is.

Destiny and Daniel have been friends for a while, long before I came into the picture. Let me just say that girls like Destiny aren't friends with boys who look like Daniel for no reason. Destiny is relatively nice to me and we get along just fine, but i can't help feel a bit of suspicion towards her. Girlfriend instincts i guess. Like the girl is gorgeous, her hair was cut in a brown blonde bob that was long in the front and shorter in the back, she had these crazy caramel eyes and she was one of these girly tomboys. You know, the snapback wearing, mulitcolored pattern leggings type girl. I'm not the jealous type trust me, but it's girls like her that you have to watch out for.

Anyway Destiiny and this project is annoying me because it's hogging all his time. We could be at his house watching a movie and he had to walk into the kitchen and explain to Destiny how to make the bottle. Then we could be hanging out, having a normal conversation that leads to making out and Destiny would call saying she didn't know how to keep the doll quiet. It was aggrivating me and I was hanging on a strand to keep my calm.

We were heading to History hand in hand talking like usual when his phone buzzed. Destiny was in study hall right now so it was most likely her.

"What does she want now?" I ask as he drops my hand and reaches in his pocket for his phone.

Daniel looks at me and I avoid his eyes. "Nothing, she was just telling me that the baby was pooping alot and she needed more diapers. Can we make a detour to life science?" He asks.

"We're gonna be late, Daniel." I say annoyed.

"Please babe, it'll be real quick." He says tugging on my arms. "It's just a few diaper to drop to Destiny."

I yanked my arm away from him and took a step back. "Last time i checked her legs weren't broken." My voice rose a little and Daniel gave me a stunned look. He walked up to me and put his hands on my shoulders. He crouches down so that we're eye level and stares at me intently. "What?" I ask.

"What's up with you lately, Autumn? You've been so...tense and moody. Is it that time of month?" Daniel asks with a concerend tone.

My jaw falls a little, did this boy really just ask me that. I blink slowly and glare at him. "I'm fine, you're the one that's too busy with Destiny to spend time with me." Daniel begins laughing which sets me off even more. "Nothings funny!"

"Destiny? You're worried about Destiny?." He says poking my nose. I slap his hand away and keep glaring at him. Daniel leans forward and kisses my cheek. "You know its just a project that's taking up my time. Like how violin and ballet takes up yours. Why is it such a big deal when I'm busy, or is it just because Destiny is involved?"

Coming out his mouth I noticed how stupid this whole thing is. He's right, I'm always doing this when it comes to another girl. But it's NOT jeaoulsy, I'm just looking out for him.

I cover my face and sigh. "Stop, you're making me feel bad."

"When this project is over you'll have me all to yourself. Ok?" Daniel laughs again and moves my hands from my face the pecks me quickly on the lips. "Go to history, I'm going to try and make it to life science and drop the diapers off to Destiny in the library." I nod and he flashes a smile before turning and sprinting down the hall. My smile falls as i watch him go towards Destiny, its obvious who comes first at the moment.

I shake my head and keep walking towards history. My head was starting to hurt, this always happens when I'm annoyed either with myself or some one else. I close my eyes and take a deep breath, trying to ignore the pounding in my head.

When i get into history i take my usual seat and put my head down with my arms covering it. I block out all the noise and try to meditate like they taught me in yoga, it was actually working too until someone poked me.

I look up to find Jasmine staring at me. "You alright?"

I shrug. "I just have a headache. Im kinda stressed too."

"Me too, these classes are draining me." Jasmine says. I stare at her wondering why she suddenly wants to speak to me. We've seen each other plenty of time but never actually communicated.

"Hey can i sit here? Those idiots stole my seat." She says.

Well then, that explains why she started a conversation. I'm about to say this seat is for Daniel, but then something strikes me and i pull out the chair for her.

"Go ahead," I say. Jasmine grins and takes her seat next to me.

When class begins Jasmine had me rolling, the girl was saying sly remarks low enough so that only i caught it. I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing as the comments kept coming.

"And look at her beat up sneakers, those things look like they bout to start talking to each other." Jasmine mutters.

I cover my mouth and try to keep a straight face. Jasmine is a trip and everything's funnier when you're not supposed to be laughing.

A few minutes into class Daniel walked in. He headed over to his regular seat then stopped dead in his tracks when he spotted Jasmine sitting in it. His face changed to one of confusion and he stared at me looking for an explanation.

"She wasnt late." Is all i said before looking down at my notebook and pretending to write.

Daniel sucks his teeth before heading to another seat. Jasmine clears her throat and shuffles her papers noisly.

"Well that was awkward." She says.

I smile a little and sigh. "You have no idea."

After talking in history Jasmine and I have become more so of friends. She's one of those girls who are laid back and fun but get on her bad side, like Craig, she can have the worst attitude towards you.

Me, Jasmine and Serena have started hanging out more often so that takes up the time i usually sped with Daniel. Not that he really cares even though he claims he does. I'v been avoiding him lately, things are complicated between us. Come on, everyone knows you cant have a girlfriend and a girl thats your best friend. Drama always happen and i cant help but feel a little like a small priority when it comes to them.

Anyway, I also have a huge ballet recital to rehearse for. Me and my class are performing in front of the entire school so i have to be on my A game.

Right now, alls bittersweet in paradise for me.
