(Autumn POV)

A book slams down on the table in front of me and the sound echoes through the library. It's study hall and I was reading peacefully on my kindle until the sound of the book slamming grabbed my attention. I slowly look up to find Tamara hovering over me, her eyes studying me hard.

"I'm sorry," she says, still leaning forward slightly.

For a minute I thought I had misheard her. "Um, what?"

Tamara rolls her eyes and crosses her arms. She looked pretty today with her hair pulled back in bun while she wore a red hollister shirt and capris. The scowl on her face ruined the look though.

"I said I'm sorry." She says again.

"For what?" I ask, genuinely confused.

Tamara slides into the seat across from me and leans back, crossing her arms again. "For punching you...and scratching you...and pulling your hair. Oh and cursing you out twice."

"You had a right to do it. I kissed Chris."

"Yeah, don't remind me." She snaps shooting me an evil look. "Ray is right, I'm being over dramatic."

"Ray said that to you?" I ask her. Ray of all people said that? I mean I'm so used to him holding back his opinion, I would have expected Craig to say it or Alicia.

Tamara nods a little. "Not directly towards me. I heard him say it over the phone. I guess Jacob butt dialed me from Jaida's phone or whatever. I hung up after she said something about Ray's boxers."

I laugh a little and Tamara shakes her head. "Any way we're getting off topic. I came her to apologize. I shouldn't have fought you to begin with."

"I'm glad you've come to your senses." I say with a little bit of attitude.

Tamara shoots me a glare. "Do.Not. Push it. It took a lot of tolerance to even come over to you."

I toss a small smile and shrug. "It wasn't even a fight though. You won with the first hit." I say, remembering how hard she had punched me in the cheek. It felt like a big rock hitting my bone.

"Yeah but still. I only hit you cuz I was pissed off. At you, at Chris, at the fact that I had to hear it from Destiny. I was a wreck." She says, moving her bangs out her eyes.

I nod in an understanding way. "I would have done the same. I may not have beat someone up the way you did but I'd still throw a fit." Tamara smiles a little then I glare at her. "What makes you think I should accept your apology after you cussed me out in the hospital?"

Tamara laughs and shrugs. "Because I really am sorry and plus...I made you cookies."

I raise an eyebrow. "Did you really?"

"Haha, no." She says tossing me a mini snicker bar instead. I shake my head at her and she laughs then gets completely serious again. "Did you and Chris really sleep together?"

My face falls at the mention of that night. "Yeah but it was only because I was drunk and he was high. It was right after I caught Daniel and Destiny and I just wanted to get back at him."

"What was sleeping with Chris gonna do?" Tamara asks confused. I think about it for a moment then shrug.

"I dunno I was drunk. I don't even remember what color shirt I had in that night. Ugh, don't ever let me drink again." I say covering me face. Tamara laughs and the bell rings for lunch.

"Does this mean that we're officially friends again?" I ask her.

"I guess...," she says shrugging. I pull her into a random hug and she pats my back awkwardly. "Pull this type of shit again and I'll murder you." She whispers in my ear.
