Letting go
Keifer's POV
"Binigyan mo sya ng phone?" I ask Percy.
Nakatingin sya sakin habang nakatayo sa tabi ng kotse nya. He's actually about to leave but I stop him.
"Yeah, Felix told me she broke her old one."
I took my phone out of my pocket. "Give me her new number."
He smile widely before sticking out his tongue like a child. "Ayaw ko nga."
"I'm not in the mood to play with you." Sounds like a threat for him.
"I ain't playing with yah!" He rap while moving his hand like a real rapper.
Napabuntong hininga ako. Galing na sa kamatayan at lahat-lahat pero hunghang pa rin. Ano bang kailangang pagdaanan nito para tumino?
Kailangan bang ihampas ko pa ang ulo nya sa bato para magbago sya? Kung kelan nagse-seryoso ako eto sya at nang-aasar. Walang pinag-bago.
"Percy." I called him in serious tone. "...just give me her number so I can leave."
Huminto sya sa ginagawa at pinagmasdan ako. He probably sense how serious I am. Sandali syang nagkamot ng pisngi bago magsalita.
"Sorry, I don't trust you. Sa totoo lang ayoko ng mapalapit ka kay Jay-jay. After what you've done to her." He said while shaking his head. "...and then you still haven't explain the incident with Freya."
"You don't understand my situation with Jay-jay and I have nothing to explain about Freya." I put my phone back to my pocket. "...kung ayaw mong ibigay, fine. I can still get her number anyway."
I'm about to walk away when he called me. I turn back to him. He frown like a child and took out his phone.
"Demanding mo no? Kainis!" He said while typing out something in his phone. "...buti nalang mas gwapo ako sayo."
I don't see the connection.
Lumapit ako sa kanya habang hinihintay ang number na hinihingi ko. Nanlalaki pa ang butas ng ilong nya.
"May kondisyon lang ako."
I raised a brow. "What?"
"Paki-paliwanag lang kung anong nangyari kay Freya."
