Jun's POV

It had officially been three weeks since I had been discharged from the hospital. It was March 12, 2019, and we still hadn't began practicing. I know I couldn't sing or dance, but it was weird not seeing everyone rush off to practice when they usually would jump at the chance to go practice, especially Dokyeom, Woozi, and Hoshi. All of this confused me, and it was a never ending mystery of quiet morale and me wanting to question Jeonghan for his frequent visits to the storage room.

Out of the blue, I began to wonder if I had met any of my bandmates' family during the period of time that the doctor said I had amnesia. Full of thought, I made my way out of my room and asked everyone. They all said no. I thought it was normal, until I talked to Jeonghan, who had just come out of the storage room.

"Hey hyung, can I ask you something?" I tapped him on the shoulder.

"What is it Jun?" Jeonghan asked.

"Did I meet any of your family in the past six months?" I asked.

"Yes," Jeonghan nodded.

"Who?" I inquired.

"My sister," Jeonghan said stiffly. And with that, he stalked back out into the living room to help Mingyu cook the ddeokkbeokki we would consume in a few hours.

I sighed. I was getting nowhere to regaining the huge hole in my memories. It seemed impossible now. I knew that they couldn't tell me anything, but it would be nice to know everything. All of this was kind of stressful for me.

Earlier, I had talked to Jisoo hyung, and he told me that we were waiting for me to regain that huge hole in my memory, but that seemed like that would take forever.

"Why is this so difficult?" I muttered to myself, walking past the storage room to head to the bathroom.

I froze. The storage room. That had to have some of the answers, wouldn't it? Why else would Jeonghan hyung continuously make trips there everyday? It seemed somewhat logical, in my opinion.

After going to the bathroom, I ran back into my room and pulled out my phone. It was four in the afternoon. Jeonghan normally went there after dinner, carrying extra food, and stayed there for three hours. I figured I could eavesdrop on him unless the coast was clear. Eavesdropping seemed like a better idea, considering there could be something weird inside that room.

I waited for an agonizing hour until Mingyu finally called to go eat dinner. He set out thirteen bowls for us as we sat around the table. We hungrily attacked the ddeokkbeokki like it was the last meal on Earth. I shoved the chewy rice cakes and tangy sauce into my mouth as my teeth chewed them gratefully. Ten minutes later, I was stuffed full of food and ready to hit the hay. I was pooped.

Wait, I stopped myself. I have to go that storage room.

Jeonghan had already left and after checking all the rooms I could see that Jeonghan wasn't in any of them. He had to be in the storage room. I was ready to make my move.

Yuju's POV

"Yuju."

Jeonghan walked in, carrying a fresh plate of deokkbeokki with him. My mouth watered at the smell of the chewy rice cakes, but my stomach refused to cooperate with my mouth.

"Thanks Jeonghan," I said. "I'll try to eat them later."

"Okay then," Jeonghan smiled softly. "How are you holding up?"

"I'm feeling more tired now," I yawned.

"Yeah, I can see the dark circles under your eyes," Jeonghan chuckled softly. "How many hours have you been sleeping daily?"

"Four to six," I admitted sheepishly.

"Yuju!"

"Hush oppa," I shushed Jeonghan. "Before you scold me, I know it isn't healthy. Everytime I close my eyes, I see his face and I want to cry. I started taking sleeping pills, but they don't always work."

"Okay," Jeonghan sighed. "What have you been doing in your room all day, minus going to the bathroom?"

"Watching YouTube," I said. "Checking social media. Only looking at my friends' posts. I'd cry if I didn't."

"You check social media and Youtube every day for at least fourteen hours?" Jeonghan asked in disbelief. "Your eyes must be TERRIBLE."

"Sheesh, I know," I said. "But what else can I do?"

"Read a book," Jeonghan said.

"I don't have any," I pointed out.

"Borrow one from Jisoo or Wonwoo. They have tons, trust me," Jeonghan said.

"Can you bring me a few?" I asked.

"Of course," Jeonghan smiled.

It was quiet for a moment, with the two of us sitting next to each other. The fan overhead whirred and I was wrapped up in a furry blanket. Jeonghan grabbed part of it and put it on his lower body.

"Have you been talking to Areum?" Jeonghan asked.

"Not really," I admitted. "I did for a week, but a lot of the things she said reminded me of Jun, so I haven't been talking to her. Can you tell her I said hi?"

"I will," Jeonghan promised. "Anything else before I go? Jisoo wants to watch a drama with me."

"Jihan," I murmured quietly.

"What did you just say young lady?" Jeonghan said accusingly.

"Nothing," I giggled.

"Okay," Jeonghan said cautiously. "And last words?"
"I guess," I started. "I wish he would remember me."

I fell into my older brother's arms as small tears trickled down my face at the thought of my old lover. Jeonghan's embrace made me feel warm again as he wiped the tears from my face and told me the same exact words he's repeated every single time he comes by my room.

"It's going to be okay Yuju."

Jun's POV

I carefully checked the hallways as I tiptoed to the storage room. Jeonghan hyung was still in there. With my ear to the door, I listened carefully.

I could only hear soft murmurs and mumbles, and it sounded like Jeonghan was talking to someone. Did he have a girlfriend I didn't know about? Was he trying to keep his relationship private?

Carefully, I strained closer to the door as I tried to hear their conversation. Oddly enough, it didn't sound like Jeonghan was on the phone. Another live human being was in there.

Trying to shake off this extremely weird idea, I channeled my energy into listening carefully and quietly as I heard one sentence.

"I wish he would remember me."

I froze.

That voice. It sounded so familiar. I felt like I had heard it before. The soft voice that seemed to be on the verge of tears seemed so familiar to me. I felt like I had heard it a million times. But it was nowhere to be heard in my memory.

But then, something else made me think and wonder.

What if it was that girl in my dreams?
