Chapter 41 ~ Excitement

Yuju's POV

I froze as I heard those words.

"Y-You remember me?" I asked shakily.

"Yes," Jun nodded.

I was too shocked to move, do, or say anything. Tears fell down my face in all of the joy. He wrapped me into his arms and I fell into his embrace. I was so, so happy. It was hands-down the best day of my entire life.

"This calls for a celebration!" Jeonghan grinned. "Everyone! Come on out of your rooms! We need to celebrate Jun regaining his memories and the reincarnation of Junju!"

As if on cue, everyone ran out of their rooms. Mingyu ran out of his room and hugged his hyung and Yuju. It was a beautiful moment, full of love and hugs. Everyone was happy — even Jiyeon, surprisingly. And then she spoke up.

"Hey guys," Jiyeon said as everyone quieted down. "I just need to say something. Yesterday, I was asked to become a makeup artist for PRISTIN, and Areum will permanently be a second makeup artist for SEVENTEEN. That means I'm moving out of the dorm today."

All of a sudden, the morale turned sad, but Jeonghan and I were silently cheering. They all said farewell to Jiyeon, who had amazingly already packed up her belongings, and left to go to PRISTIN's dorm.

"We can always see her later," Seungcheol recalled. "But let's not talk about that now. We need to celebrate!"

An hour later, SEVENTEEN, Areum, Mina, and I were gathered around the dining table, talking about everything imaginable and having the best time ever. It was one of those things that I would cherish forever. A memory that I knew I would never forget.

"Hey guys," Jisoo cut in. "Cheers to Junju, a relationship with ups and downs, and special memories in between!"

"Hear hear!" Dokyeom cried.

We all put our glasses together and sipped them to quench our thirst. We all smiled as we restarted our conversations and recalling everything that had happened in the past six months. I told Jun what had happened while he had forgotten me, and his reaction was more than cute.

"Yuju!" Jun whined, pulling my arm. "Why weren't you eating! Aish, you should be taking better care of yourself."

"Sorry Junnie," I said sheepishly. "I was heartbroken, okay? Would you be too? It's only logical for someone to act that way once they lose someone they love."

"I guess so," Jun scratched the back of his neck. "But still. I don't want you to hurt yourself physically or mentally."

"I won't do it ever again," I promised. "As long as you don't leave me again."

"Deal," Jun grinned.

We resumed our conversation with the other members, and eating the feast set before us, prepared by Mingyu and Wonwoo. Although this is completely random, I think they're soulmates, that is, if they weren't both guys. (YAS MEANIE).

We continued eating, laughing, and talking as we made special memories. It was truly a special night to remember.

After dinner, we decided to have some fun together.

"What should we do now?" Woozi asked.

"Let's do a random play dance!" Seungkwan said excitedly.

"Sure!" Hoshi agreed happily.

"I'm too tired," Wonwoo said. "I'll judge. The person who comes out to dance the most times wins. Is that okay?"

"Let's go!" Dokyeom cheered.

And with that, we all began dancing. We picked a video off of YouTube and danced the night away. (LET'S DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY!) It was a combination of seriousness when we all knew the dances, but also hilarity whenever no one knew the dance so someone would just start randomly moving to the music. I was surprised when I was the only person who knew La Vie En Rose by IZ*ONE, and impressed by how many songs everyone else knew.

"Go Yuju!" Jun cheered. I smiled at him.

"Go Junnie!" I said as he went up.

"GO EVERYONE!" Vernon yelled. We all laughed at that.

The person who created this was very good at putting in a variety of songs from different groups. It was really funny whenever a SEVENTEEN song played, mostly because the twelve of them would scramble to get into their formation, even though they didn't have to. Besides SEVENTEEN, the person put in (G)I-DLE, BLACKPINK, BTS, TWICE, EXO, RED VELVET, NCT, SUNMI, IU, WEKI MEKI, AOA, IZ*ONE, WANNA ONE, I.O.I, and so many more groups.

"That was tiring!" Jisoo rasped. We had just finished the one hour random play dance that Wonwoo had chosen for us.

"Who won?" Seungkwan turned his gaze to Wonwoo, and Mingyu stifled a giggle at his impulsiveness.

"Be patient Boonon," Wonwoo flicked Seungkwan's forehead. "The winner is..."

We all held our breath.

"EVERYONE!"

Everyone cheered except Seungkwan, who groaned.

"You couldn't have chosen one person?" Seungkwan whined.

"Too bad," Wonwoo teased.

"Hey guys, be quiet," Seungcheol said. "PD-nim is calling me. It might be something important."

We all quieted down as Seungcheol answered the call.

"Hi everyone!" PD-nim waved at the sixteen of us.

"Hi PD-nim," we chorused.

"How are you feeling Jun?" PD-nim asked with a smile.

"I'm doing just fine," Jun grinned. "I'm happy to have all of my memories back now."

"That's good," PD-nim smiled. "Now, I have a surprise for all of you. Yes, including Yuju, Areum, as well as Mina, if she has the time."

"What is it?" Jeonghan pressed.

"As a special celebratory gift for getting through these past seven months, I'm giving all of you a special...VACATION!" PD-nim announced.

The room erupted with cheers and hollers as we all got excited. Finally, silence evoked in the room and PD-nim began speaking again.

"You'll be going to a private beach," PD-nim said. "There will be a villa with six rooms, so you better hurry up and divide the rooms."

"We better do that," Hoshi smiled. "We all know how that can go."

"Oh do we ever," Dokyeom said dramatically. We all laughed.

"Well, you leave in two days," PD-nim grinned. "You get a four day vacation, just by the way. You better start packing!"

"We will," Seungcheol smiled. "Thanks again PD-nim!"

"Thank you!" the rest of us chorused.

"Your welcome!" PD-nim said. "Now go get ready! You have a vacation to prepare for!"

"Bye PD-nim."

"Bye everyone."

The call ended and we all started talking excitedly about the trip and everything we would do. It was a really special way for PD-nim to give us some relaxation.

"EVERYONE!" Seungcheol yelled as we all fell silent. "Get ready! Go start packing! Listen to PD-nim! We have a vacation to get ready for!"

And with that, we all ran off, with smiles on our faces, happy about the past, present, and our coming future.
