Chapter 42 ~ Arrival

Yuju's POV

I sat down in one of the seats, my knee bouncing up and down in excitement. The day finally came for our five day vacation. This had been anticipated ever since PD-nim had announced him.

There were two cars. One had Dino driving, to give him practice, and the other had Seungcheol driving. I was in a car with Jun, Minghao, Mina, Areum, Jeonghan, Seungcheol, and Jisoo. The other car had Wonwoo, Mingyu, Woozi, Hoshi, DK, Seungkwan, Dino, and Vernon.

"Are you excited?" Jun smiled as he played with my hair.

"Yes!" I exclaimed. Jun giggled.

I climbed into the back seat of the van and Jun sat next to me. Jeonghan sat on the other side of me, as a classic overprotective brother would do. In front of us, Minghao was on the left, Mina in the middle, and Areum on the right side. Seungcheol sat in the driver's seat while Jisoo was in the passenger's seat. All of our stuff was thrown into the trunk.

"Seatbelts on?" Seungcheol yelled.

"YES!" the seven of us chorused.

Seungcheol grinned into the rearview mirror and we embarked on our one hour long journey. Areum fell asleep right away, resting her head on a neck pillow she had brought. Minghao and Mina were being very nice and antisocial and were on their phones, and made an occasional giggle or comment at something they were looking at. Jisoo and Seungcheol were talking quietly. I had begun making conversation with Jeonghan and Jun.

"What do you want to do when we get there?" I asked.

"I don't even know," Jun said. "It's been a while since we've had a vacation."

"I just want to have some fun and be able to relax to some degree," Jeonghan said matter-of-factly. "These past few weeks have been so tiring."

"You're one to talk," I retorted. "I feel like I have permanent dark circles around my eyes."

"Hey, I was the one that took care of you for those two months," Jeonghan shot back.

"Let's stop fighting and not talk about that," Jun smiled, smoothing things over. "And for the record, your dark circles are going away. How have the past few nights been?"

"Wonderful," I replied. "I haven't woken up once."

"That's good," Jeonghan smiled.

"And now that our dramatic love story is over," I said jokingly. "Oppa, when are you going to confess to Areum unnie?"

"You're still stuck on her?" Jun grinned.

"You like Areum?" Minghao turned around, his eyes widening.

"Yeah, he does," I smirked.

"Sheesh Yuju," Jeonghan rolled his eyes. "And Jun, it's not like you date someone for a month and then dump them. Yes, I still like Areum. And no, I don't know when I'm going to confess to her. Maybe I'll do it sometime this trip."

"You should!" I urged. "And I want to be there!"

"I knew you would say something like that," Jeonghan said, shaking his head.

"Hey, at least I'm being honest," I pointed out.

"That's a very good trait to have Yuju!" Jisoo called from the front.

"I learned from the best!" I grinned.

"Haha!" Jisoo laughed.

"Be quiet, the both of you," Jeonghan muttered.

"Hey," I said. "It's not like we're teasing you or something."

"Uh, are you sure you're being honest about that?" Jeonghan retorted.

"Okay, okay, sorry," I apologized.

"It's okay," Jeonghan said.

It was quiet for a minute, with no one knowing what to say. Eventually, Jeonghan fell asleep and he put his head on my shoulder. His head wouldn't move. I sighed. And Jun's head just so happened to fall on my shoulder and he was sound asleep.

"Are you serious?" I muttered as Minghao and Mina turned around and laughed silently.

I pulled out my phone and took a selfie of the two sleeping boys and me. Posting it on my story, I tagged them and wrote on the caption, "YAH I'M NOT YOUR PILLOW!" I posted it and then fell sound asleep, just like the two of them.

"We're here!" Seungcheol yelled as my eyes fluttered awake. Jeonghan and Jun had woken up while I was asleep and were wide awake. Areum pulled out her phone and giggled.

"What's so funny?" Jeonghan demanded, crossing his arms.

"Look at this," Areum grinned at me.

Areum's phone was opened to my Instagram story, where I had tagged Jeonghan and Jun in the sleeping picture. Minghao and Mina laughed quietly and Jun and Jeonghan scowled at me.

"Yuju!" Jun whined as he hit my arm.

"Sorry," I giggled. "I couldn't resist."

"I'll forgive you this time," Jun said.

"What's taking you guys so long?" Mingyu stuck his head into our van. "We need to do room assignments!"

"Oh, right," Jeonghan said.

The eight of us quickly scrambled out of the car and onto the parking lot, where we grabbed all of our stuff from the huge trunk. We hauled our stuff into the huge living room of the private villa. We all sighed happily. Time for some relaxation and much-needed rest.

"How are we doing the room assignments?" Chan asked.

"I'll go with Yuju," Jeonghan said immediately.

"Oh please," Seungcheol scoffed. "Let her live a little. Yuju, who do you want to go with?"

"Mina unnie and Areum unnie," I said sheepishly.

"You don't want to be with your big brother?" Jeonghan pouted.

"I don't need to be around you anymore than I already need to."

"Oof," Seungkwan giggled.

"Okay then, Yuju is with Mina and Areum," Seungcheol said. "There's five more rooms, and thirteen of us. Let's do Jeonghan and Joshua, Jun and Minghao, Seungkwan, Dokyeom, and Hoshi, Chan, Woozi, and Vernon, and then Mingyu, Wonwoo, and me?"

"That works," Woozi shrugged.

"The Jihan and Junhao ships have sailed," Hoshi smiled.

"What did you say?" the four mentioned yelled.

"Hey, it's kind of cute," I grinned.

"I give up," Jeonghan groaned.

"Okay everyone," Seungcheol quieted everyone down. "Go to your rooms and get settled. How about we meet up here in about twenty minutes?"

"Got it!" we chorused.

And with that, we all ran, smiles plastered on our faces, ready for a special five days that would await us.
