Chapter 10: This is not a love story

A/N: This chapter was dedicated to BTS V or Taehyung's song entitled "Scenery" because of this song I got inspired to make a new update.

Jennie's POV

To: Rosie the Chipmunk 😂

Hey, plss tell Ms.Idah that I can't attend our class for this day. I have a fever 🤒🤒🤒
Sent: 6:45 am

I lied. Actually, I don't have a fever today. It is just an excuse that's why I told it to Rose. Well, I don't want to let this opportunity pass over. I've waited this for so long and finally it will happened this day.

"I like me better, I like me better when I'm with you" I sang as I wear my favorite dress while looking at the mirror.

"Did I act over reacted?" my mind sheepishly told me.

I really got excited for this day so I ended up wearing my best and favorite dress for this day. I know it's just a simple meeting with someone but I can't help it, I really want to make myself look so presentable so that I can make him admire who I am.

I didn't mind anymore if I ended up looking so dumb wearing a formal dress in such a simple date or simple place. Atleast, I give importance and make an effort for it. Wait can I call it a date? Since, I'm already thinking that it is.

I smile from that thought. I really can't believe that it will happen this day. That finally I can meet him. I will see how he looks like. I can talk with him personally not just texting each other. And lastly, I can touch, hug and ki— ok, ok, ok delete that part!!! It's too fast for that thing right now. I will just savor my time with him later. Just for now.

"Finally I can meet you, Pranpri" I mumbled as I checked myself in the mirror.

I go down stairs, getting ready myself to leave my house when I heard a sound from a broken glass then I saw my mom was crying on the corner while my dad is just standing and looking at her with  a miserable look.

"Mom and Dad I'm going" I said in a bored tone.

I simply passed by on their side without minding about the scene they make a while ago and before I leave, I rolled my eyes to them.

It's not new with me anymore. Ever since we came in this village, I can't count anymore how many times I saw them quarrelling because of the money. Yes it's about money. As what I have heard when I once try to listen in their quarrel, our business was already closed to its bankruptcy. My father has a lot of debts he needs to pay and it's also the reason why we moved out in this village. Many people are always looking for my dad in our previous house that time because of his debts. So we decided to left it and luckily, as we look for a new house, we saw this one which is sell in a low price. We quickly grab this opportunity so here we are.

When I reach for our door, I quickly closed it without looking at my Dad and Mom who's quarrelling again.  I don't want to to see it again and I'm already tired to hear those.

I sighed on relief when finally I get myself in the outside. The first thing I saw is my neighbor's house which is too silent these fast few days. I'm already wondering why when I will look at their house, I always see no light and no people. I'm already wondering why they are gone for days.

"Where did you go, Lisa?" It came out  in my mouth automatically while looking at her house.

I can't help myself not to worry. Lisa is already considered as my friend. I don't know why but I always feel something that I can't explain whenever I saw her. It's new with me so I can't define it but why do I need to feel that strong feeling that I need to protect her whenever  I saw her? I can't understand why I'm feeling this way but I think it's because of her disease. Maybe, I was just concern to Lisa because of her condition. Maybe, I just pity her. Ok, just like that, nothing more. This feelings is just nothing. But what happened to Horror Booth— oooops! ok enough with this topic it's my secret so no one shouldn't know about this.
